This was great! I absolutely loved the intrigue/mystery behind her chalk-letters on the fountain. The Friday theme reminded me a bit of "Friday I'm in Love" by the Cure (in the best way).

Okay, silliness aside, this oneshot was a really enjoyable read! I liked its simplicity and delightful touch. It's true that it is neither particularly funny nor happy nor angsty, but all these come together to form a great piece! A good piece of fiction doesn't have to be an overload of a certain emotion, and I think you pulled it off really well.

I got a little teary at the letter to Dad - for a moment, I was wondering who it could be that she wrote letters to. I thought it to be Sesshoumaru initially, but then he appeared in the story not knowing her so I figured it wasn't. Nice familial touch there :) The mental pictures of a girl drawing with chalk under the sun are lovely.
