aww...Shin's so precious! looking back on ch3 he definitely knew who his mommy was supposed to be. bet he wouldn't have had any connection with his egg donor.

Another well written chapter.  I hate to be pushy (not really, lol), but can't wait for the next chapter.

Enjoying the story..Still wondering how Sess' mate died, i am sure that will come out later.  I like picturing Sess with drool and being in a meeting and having the baby dropped in his lap during the meeting.   lol

btw, is Kagome a miko in this? it would kinda make sense about why Shin felt safe even when he felt his dad was royally ticked off...wonder what'll happen when Kagome's supposed to play on the piano...methinks Shin will be whining for her all night even if his dad is holding him.

ya know...I was just reminded of a quote from that Mom at Sixteen lifetime movie with the older Panabaker chick...she was saying something about the physic she saw who told her that children choose who their parents are before they(the children)are born...this bit with Shin acknowledging Kagome as his mother seems to prove it...only that Sesshomaru buggered up who the egg donor was supposed to be. Kagome definitely seems to be Shin's mother. bet if the family tragedy didn't happen she might have met Sesshomaru...but I'm not sure that they would have ended up together.

SO...Shin gonna claw her dress to get at her breasts before anyone realizes it? or before he realizes daddy has to make it so mommy has breastmilk? though the latter could take a bit.

hmm....methinks it'd be more soothing to Shin if they could do a tubing setup where Shin is kinda nursing from Kagome...but there's a small tube near her nipple that comes from a bottle filled with formula...I saw that on an adoption story or something once I think.

in the end I bet Kagome will argee to helping if only for Shin...she definitely doesn't seem to need the money or anything...but working with children can be healing too.

wonder how long it'll be until Sesshomaru realizes that Shin will always treat Kagome as his mother...not as nanny or au pair or anything other then mother...he might even listen to Kagome more then to his dad.

hopefully nurture will help Shin take after Kagome more then he takes after the egg donor.
