I expected it of him, but I'm still proud of Miroku for doing such a good job protecting his little friend and her baby. I wish he'd chase after the gaaurd and kill them all, or at least completely cripple them. He's still the same Miroku though. Still creepily observant and analytical and mostly ethical, so I guess I'll let it go as he let them go. We know what they'll say to that coward anyway. A lie to make our tachi appear without mercy or manners, holding Kagome hostage and bewitching the village, including the other, older miko. Douches...

Will the item that Sesshomaru gathered to help Kagome and the baby will still be able to assist her now that Inuyasha's already helped her give birth. I wonder if it'll have any effect on the baby... I'm sure he'll be happy to see that this son is his, but what of the rest of the news regarding the little one?

I like the names Shuro, Shingen, Anin, and Benkei. But like Sesshomaru's name suggests, most people of that time period, who were of higher rank, would be given new names upon reaching adulthood, and passing major milestones in their lves. So the baby's name won't be his name forever.

I am confused. A shapeshifter? We already know it's a boy right? I like ant name with 'chi' for thousand (mother of thousand generations).

Why were they doing exactly what I thought they were? Silly Inuyasha. It makes perfect sense that it'd be him, helping Kagome. But I wonder if that witch is aware of the side effect. Hopefully, they won't be dumb enough to talk about it beyond their group(?), and Sesshomaru will just help them dissolve the bond. 

I'm sure Miroku won't feel slighted by this development/revelation. Or, I hope he won't. With any luck, Sango and Inuyasha will arrive right before Sesshomaru, so at least we'll have som bonding-reminiscence before the inevitable talk.

Ahh! So that's who helped Kagome! And omg, this whole bit between Sango and InuYasha was so cute! so cute! I've thought before that those two could make a good couple. 

Now, what's happening with the fighting?! And will Kagome's son have both youki and reiki? And what is that fairy thing that Sesshoumaru captured for Kagome? 

I love this story. I really do but I know what I'm about to say is going to be hella unpopular....I think I hate Sango, in this. She feels like the weakest link in this story to me and I would love by some awful twist of fate if she just got impaled on something and bleed out. Boo hiss she was cheated on, so two shakes later she's pouring all her insecurities into Inuyasha while clinging to him like the life line that will save her love life. All the while her 'sister' is some weird after thought that she kinda feels guilty over? On that I might be confused or just reading it wrong..basicly I feel that the Sango drama is weak. It takes away from all the interesting things happening in the story.

Everything else makes the story worth reading. The writer's overall flow feels heavy and warm. I love the chapter where Seeshomaru 'cleans house'. I love the light and dark elements of the story, they twist together nicely. The original characters are fun and very easy to love. or love\hate them. whichever...

...It's just the Sango drama I can live without. The brat in me hopes the author takes pity on me and just makes her litral dead weight. 

....Lyra if you are reading this just know I really do love this story and no matter what I want to see where all this is heading. It really is a good story.

Damn it, Sango! Just tell him how you feel!!! Had to leave this chapter with a cliffhanger! Oh, poo! ONWARD!!!!

So good, so good! 

So has Inuyasha accepted his demon side? Is that what's happening to him now? And what's happening back with Kagome and the babe? So many questions! I'm loving the updates, please don't stop. 

So much in such a shirt chapter. And the baby! Oh, but who water the watery grey veiled person near Sesshomaru and Miroku? And did Kagome's energy lash out like that to protect, or because it was attacking? Who put thos handprints on the woman's face? Was that breath because the sisters said Kagome would be The Mother of A Thousand Generations, and the baby is clearly hanyou? So many questions, but I'm glad he's all right. That's what matters. And Sessho is killing those disgusting soldiers. That's at least taken care of right now. Oh, the excitement.

Normally I don't read drabbles but this one caught my eye so I decided to check it out. I look forward to the next chapter.

So because Christmas just happened. Your author's note there at the end made me snigger because my first instinct was to correct it to, "For unto us a child is born, a son is given..."

I regret my distance from Dokuga. Because of it, I missed this gem of a story. I'll be following now, of course.

Figures the new couple would sneak away at a time when at least Sango would be useful. But maybe it's better that way. I'd ask for Miroku to kill those idiots, but I know that's not what he is. With any luck, Sesshomaru will storm in and behead the lot of them. 

Oh Kagome! She really has the worst timing! 

And Sesshomaru, hurry and help them out!
