This chapter was also great & long & so descriptive. I want more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& in Ch.2 Sessh takes her to this cave & claimed her as his 'Mate'. Then, the next day, they wake,leave the cave walk a bit to where they know Naraku has an ambush set up for them & the day is barely started.They walk for a bit & talk a bit,then Sessh stops kisses Kagome passionately & then steps away,leaving her panting for air,while he closes his eyes for a second to calm himself & pulls out his sword & calls Ah-Un to watch Kagome & turns around there's Naraku,Kagura,Kanna & Hakudoshi. Very quickly after Naraku talks big Sessh & Kagome kill him.

 Kagome remembered that even if they kill Naraku,he was using the Jewel in place of his heart so he could just go regenerate but he doesn't even have a shard of it as he gave the Jewel to Kagome to hold in the 1st chapter & at the end of the chapter Sessh saved her from him. Naraku sees he's losing & starts to use his tentacles & Kagome remembers that his heart is tied to the jewel & starts pouring her power into the Jewel & uses the Jewel to find his heart where he keeps it protected (so he can regenerate) but she finds it & purifies it into ash. Sessh destroys his body & turns around & finishes off Hakudoshi who was dying slowly. Leaving Kagura & Kanna floatiing on her feather. ...& that was how ch.2 ended.

This is ch.3

In this chapter Kagura asks if Sessh is also going to kill her & Kanna & Sessh tells her no but if you or the void cause trouble then I will.This is the freedom you said you wished for & if you are smart you'll leave & never let me hear of you again. As Sessh told her that over his shoulder,he'd walked over to Kagome & Ah-Un & they're already leaving. Kagura instead floats to the ground & stands staring at Sessh's back & says “Perhaps this one does not wish to leave your side,” then she says “Surely, I would have been a better mate than this human girl.” He paused, then & looked at the wind witch over his shoulder.“I have already chosen the one I want; you have nothing to offer me. Take your freedom & go,” he reiterated.

Kagome & Sessh leave.Have a quickie on the side of a tree in the shade.Find Kouga,get his shards & put him in his place as he's mad that Kagome is Mated to Sessh.Find Kohaku in Inuyasha's forest & Sessh tells him to lay down,he does,Sessh takes out the shard & uses his sword to return his soul & in a second he's standing with them alive & free.Next Sessh says Inuyasha is coming.Inu shows up with Sango & Miroku who already know Naraku is dead because Miroku's windtunnel dissappeared a few hours before.Sango sees Kagome & Kohaku is about to panic so Kagome tells her he's fine,alive & free & Sango cries anyway. Kagome holds up his shard puts it with the Kouga's & piece in her pouch & it's completed.

& with that the wish,the Kami,Kikyo,Little Inu we will see what will happen in the next chapter I can't wait I'm dying to see now .

 What about Kaede,should she have been there for the wish & to see what happened???? & what will happen to Shippo isn't he basically Kagome's too? What is Sessh going to say,what can he say? Didn't he say that when you make a mistake accept,adapt & change? I'm also dying to see where Sessh lives.....& where Rin & Jakken are.I can't wait for the next chapter

This part was great. How long did Naraku have her when Sessh saved her? 

I can't believe Naraku destroyed the Well but, then again, Naraku had asked her "I can almost taste your fear – but it seems to have many edges, and I am curious as to what makes it that way.”& she told him “Oh. Well, I suppose its because there's many things I fear. I fear to lose my family, to never see them again. I fear for my friends here, that they could be hurt or killed, and I fear being alone"

I was surprised at how calm & quiet Sessh was as they wandered around after he saved her,killed Kikyo & she saw the Well & her situation. Then when he took her to the cave he asked to know about her interactions with the spider & she told him of waking, injured with Naraku caring for her wounds,how she could recall bits & pieces at 1st & Naraku helped fill in the blanks of how she'd been wounded by Kikyo attack & Inu's Windscar but,kept trying to slant the truth in his favor but,he never realized that I knew what he was doing. Then she said“His mind is so dark, you know, it's not just his soul. He would be so nice to me, and then so cruel to everyone around him right in front of me, like he thought I wouldn't care about anyone else. It was like he didn't realize that I saw things differently than him, even though he claimed to want me for my light.” At that Sessh agreed & then Kagome said "I've never been afraid of the dark before... but his darkness frightens me,” she admitted, her voice wavering. “I think... that if he were to get his hands on me again, I would rather be dead than forced to live with the nightmare that is Naraku's soul.”   Then Sessh calmed her & told her he'd never let him near her again & he said   “The only darkness you should be concerned with, is mine.”  A few times on their travels he'd said she was his & in the cave she asked what he meant when he said "I'm... yours?" & he'd said my Mate or Wife.  Then a little later she realized there was only 1 bed & she asks Sessh," Ummm... when you say Mate & wife..you mean in name only,ne??" &  he says for humans I guess that's possible  But youkai... we mate, miko, & there is no way to take a mate, without actually mating. I used the term wife, for your sake, but the truth is you will be my mate – with all that the word entails.” She asks 'why me?' & he says “There is no answer for that question other than because I want you, little priestess,” with a mocking smirk.

That was the best cause she starts to panic & goes on a tirade of how she's human,he can't find her attractive,he needs heirs & she's throwing up every excuse in the book. Finally, he takes her hand,pulls her close, she goes to say something & he puts his finger over her lips & tells her that she's wasting her time,reminds her of what Naraku said about him watching & protecting her for all this time & that he's waited long enough to claim her & she needs to get ready for bed.She grabs her yellow bag & takes forever(he knows she's stalling) & she's getting night clothes to change into & he stops her & says you don't need your clothes & gives her a white silk yukata.

It was too funny, the way you played out that entire piece .....she's afraid to look at him & before he gets in bed he says Kagome you must look at me & know my body & peeks over the blanket & almost passes out & then she sees his ---- & she tells him it won't fit & he says 'I assure you,Kagome,we will fit'  & then he steals her 1st kiss & becomes passionate & hot & she's thinking how his thing touching her is so hot it feels like a branding iron & she wonders how he can go from ice to hot.

This chapter was long & great & I loved it.

OMG! What a shock! Now, I have to tell you, since I started reading this story, there's been one new twist after another..and I apologize for not reviewing sooner, cause I've been so sick lately, but, after reading this last chapter, I just had to leave a review.  And, well...WOW! I definitely, never, ever expected a cliffhanger like that one! And, it's a first! Usually, everyone just kills off Inuyasha when he's been such a jerk in ther fics, but to revert him to a small child for Sesshomaru to raise?! Uh..sounded like a punishment for him, especially after the reprimand he got from the Kami, didn't it? He definitely never saw that coming, did he?  Oh, I can't wait to see what happens when he comes out of his state of shock! And, Kagome will probably be wondering if he really is as honorable as she has always believed, or will he try to kill Inuyasha right off the bat??

Please, update soon! This is one story where I will be checking daily, impatiently, I might add, for the next chapter. :D

I love this story! I can't believe that you are going to end it already! You have an awesome talent at storytelling; please don't end it at 2 or 3 more chapters. There is so much potential that a wonderful writer like you could play with. Anyway you tell it would still be an awesome story. Great chapter.

Excellent plot twist. This story was wonderfully written and just when I thought it was finished you turned me around. I can't wait to see how this will end. This new twist is probably the best one I have seen so far. I love it!

I must say, after the few years of reading IY Fan-fiction, this has got to be the BEST treatment of Inuyasha I have EVER seen.  From Kikyou's real reasons (ok, not necessarily in canon) for wanting Yasha to follow her to hell to a solid chance at full redemption.

This was a most interesting series that I would have missed had I not favorited you as an author!  "Illumination" has been wonderful from the get go, and I love the idea that Kagome was so important in the grand "Light the Darkness" idea that has been around for thousands of years.

Kanna, you are a wonderful, amazing author.  Thank you for your work!
