Just started reading this and I'm hooked! I think the pacing of the two of them is pretty well done. I'm looking forward to seeing how she explains her nightmares to him :)

Finally Sess will find out about the dreams and she can stop hiding. Another wonderful, emotionally charged chapter. Sorry I'm late with the review, had emergency surgery and just got released from the hospital.

Wow. 25 year waiting period for grieving after death of mate. And I thought I was taking a long time with 7 years now. *shakes head and huffs with a sad smile* Wonder what my father and brother would think of this grieving period when they thought I should be 'over it' three months after the death.

Wonderful chapter. It's very interesting to watch Sesshomaru's thoughts. He Should speak to her more though. As it is... Kagome's going to be blindsided when he confesses any of his interests or feelings.

Great job hun!!! I really like the way you wrote the relationship between Sess and Kag. They seem like best friends which would make a great foundation for a mating. Keep up the awesome work!

Poor Kag! No one, well at least no males will ever treat her in too much of a regard with Sess around threatening everyone. Can't wait until she figures out that it is him causing it and confronts him. Will be quite hilarious!

I loved it! It was comedic and not overly sad. Yes, she still has her emotions and feelings and memories to deal with, but she is no longer being weighed down by them. She is beginning the first steps to moving on. Congrats for her! I loved how you described Leila, it sound like what I would do to my best friend.

Kagome had been doing much better and was sharing more of herself than before

but something’s (should be some things) were still too private. 

It seems right when she could be moving forward, she ends up taking a step back. Mourning a loved one is truly hard, but will she ever get to a point where the pain is not as bad? I hope that if she recognizes true attraction, she won't try to freeze it but allow herself to eperience it.

I just found your story today.  It's really good.  It moves a little slow for me, but that is NOT your fault, that is just because I have a preference for things to move fast. :-)  All in all, I think this is a wonderful story, and I agree with Sesshomaru,  I wish she would get back to normal soon.  I don't understand why she is having such a hard time because it's been 40 years.  I guess you do look at time differently when you are immortal.

Will she get with Sesshomaru before her natural "time" comes around, or is Kagome in for a long hard road?

LOL! Poor Sess! That green eyed monster is no joke. Lovely chapter my dear. Thanks for the update. I planned on updating mine, but got busy and then hit with food poisoning. It's gonna take a couple more days.

LOL! I have to admit, I did that to one of my cousin's when he was learning to walk, but he didn't get hurt. He learned to run pretty quickly so he could chase me around afterwards.

The nightmare was freaky, makes me wonder what message she is missing. The moment with Sess was sweet though.

Leila makes a very good point. If Kagome can withstand being too stubborn, she just may see the light.

That was an interesting twist on her getting the extended life. I'm really enjoying this story so far!
