^_^ How sweet. It wasn't really a surprise though. Jaken's too single-minded and devoted to Sesshoumaru for him to have time to dweel on deeper, darker, nastier things. And if he wasn't a little gooey gumchum at heart, Sess would never leave him alone with Rin.
Not that Rin's the one in danger of being corrupted in that particular nanny-charge equation. >_>
But it was still very funny to see him take offense at being called little Mr. Sunshine-and-Saints. ::rolls::

Forthy, what wonderful writing! I feel so much sympathy for Jaken, lost in a changed body and frightened and unsure. You make him real and his pain palpable.
Finally got a chance to sit down and read this....
I'm squeeeeeeeeeing over this and its about Jaken no less... Normally I cheeeeeeeeeeeer at the thought of making this little imp suffer when he's being insufferable.
I always look forward to your stories and this one has a very unique bite to it. Can barely wait for more.
