This was really good, hun!  Sad, but good. If you ever had the time (I know, I know ;p) or the interest, I'd think you should totally turn this into expand on this, keep the story but add to it and make it a longer tale. I think it would make an amazing story, but it's wonderful as it, too.

Aw, what a tragic story! I admit, this is definitely the first story I've read where Kagome must finish the battle with Naruku in the present time. You did a wonderful job, and though I'm sad you will not be participating in the tournament anymore, I'm so glad you wrote and posted this! Great interpretation of the theme "book"!
