I think my heart almost jumped out of my poor ribcage...gosh, it was practically pounding and for a moment, I sat rooted to the chair. Saffie, this is a really, really good oneshot. The vivid descriptions of everything, from the battlefield to Kagome's 'last moments'...everything came together in perfect balance to create this story. Thank goodness Sesshoumaru reached her side in time; I thought everything was over when he decided not to go to Kagome and instead, fight the Lord of the East with all his army has got. The ending was amazing though, not only did he manage to save her, they are now expecting a baby!! That makes a very happy MissTeak! :)
