Reviews for Forbidden Love by L-desu

Dragoness (Chapter 1) - Sat 14 Aug 2010

This poem was very wierd for me.  I did like the poem and it was very well written.  The problem I kept having was that I was left feeling ambiguous.  On the one hand it seemed too girly and full of emotions.  Sesshomaru is usually not portrayed so OOC. Then after reading at it again I realized that it was completely what I think portrays Sesshomaru.  He would be very well versed and eloquent in his speaking because of the training he would have had for taking over the Western Lands.  Sesshomaru is cold but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel. He would never be so open as to say this but he didn't say anything he is thinking this and he can think anything he wants.  It would be different if he was sitting writing a peom or saying these things.  So I have to say I liked this very much and I like the portrayal of Sesshomaru in this.  I believe Sesshomaru has many more feelings than he shows he just needs someone like Kagome to bring them forth and I think you showed this very well.

Ikaru (Chapter 1) - Thu 12 Aug 2010

A good little piece of poetry I must say, everything was well written and the feelings in the poem were easy for the reader to pick up on, well done!!

MoxyMikki (Chapter 1) - Wed 11 Aug 2010

There really should be more poetry on this site. I enjoyed that it was writen as if you were peering inside Sesshomaru's mind... I also enjoy the ambiguity of this piece. Obviously its about Kagome, but on any oher site (a non K/S shipper site to be exact) it could be almost anyone having these reflections.

Teana (Chapter 1) - Mon 09 Aug 2010

I didn't enjoy this poem. I found it to be well written, but I found it lacked a creative flow. It was very straight forward. Nothing personal, it was a good poem. I just didn't like it.

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 1) - Fri 06 Aug 2010

That was adorable! It was so sad and wistful, I really felt for Sesshoumaru. The poetry was easy to read and had a really good feel to it, ad I really liked it!

Hairann (Chapter 1) - Fri 06 Aug 2010

Very nicely done.  The poem flows rather well and even the extra lines thrown in in between the stanzas do not ruin the pace.  I would have named it Everything you, rather than Forbidden love though.  To me the title is a bit too cliched and didn't really fit.  But I loved the poem none the less :).
