I love this story so far and seriously can not wait to read more.  I actually worked at a Petro truck stop myself, down in San Antonio, and our rivals were TA and Flying J lol.  I love Jak being in this story, I felt you made his character perfect to fit not only him but the story as well. 

A tip for future chapters, add in some time at The Iron Skillet, mixing their mash potatos and brown gravy and dipping french fries into it is awesome :). 

This was a great start so far, I'm wondering how you are going to bring Sesshoumaru into the story already. This is a very unique story so far and I'm very interested to see where you go with this. Very well done and keep up the good work!

Interesting start. I have to admit the first chapter was a little hard to get through, mostly for personal reasons, but I'm glad I stuck it out. The plot seems to really be coming into play now, and I find myself looking for chapter 4! lol Keep it up!
