Katrina (Chapter 5) - Sun 16 May 2010

I not sure if I did do a review or not but right now, I'm going back to the second chapter to reread it again. I still wonder of what happen to her in the past?, Was she with child and then lost the baby, somehow by accident?, Will Sesshomaru find out what happend to her? Please do update for your next chapter cause I would like to see Kagome a little more stronger and tougher in a couple of more chapters.

But it would be awful if something tragic happened to Hojo on the wedding day and Kagome would be left alone but whatever you have plans or idea for your story, I'm looking forward to it.

Lady Chaos (Chapter 5) - Wed 28 Apr 2010

I do hope more chapters are up quickly, I hate waiting for a good story to continue.

REDWOLF (Chapter 5) - Wed 28 Apr 2010

I wonder if Sesshoumaru had something to do with Hojo's job change?

fatcatmom (Chapter 4) - Tue 27 Apr 2010

Love the story, the characters, and the POV. Yes, I could see Sess acting exactly the way you portrayed him. And Kagome reacting just the way she did. Very well written, please update soon. I want to see how Sess tries to get out of the dog house and who he gets to tutor him in what love is.

knifethrower (Chapter 5) - Mon 26 Apr 2010

The review by Saku was one of the most insightful and meaningful reader reviews I've ever read.  Sometimes I enjoy reading the reviews of a story as much as the story itself, because they give me a lot of food for thought.  It is so interesting how many paralells there are between the issues the characters of InuYasha have and real life, that's why there are so many fascinating fanfics to read.

knifethrower (Chapter 5) - Mon 26 Apr 2010

I wonder what is wrong with Kagome's health?  I have to go back and re-read to see if I can get a clue.  Maybe the conversation referred to her therapist?  Or maybe there is a deeper mystery here.  I can't wait to find out!  I'm really enjoying this story, I'm glad you update regularly.

redpixie (Chapter 5) - Mon 26 Apr 2010

Poooooooooor Hojo !!! :( Normally I don't like him but the way you portrayed him made me really feel for him...

I hope he'll heal :(

On the other hand, *squueeeeeaal* I love that Sesshoumaru came clean on the TV xP

And the fact that he never touched his wife does sound rather unbeleivable, but I'm pretty sure it's actually true...

But what about other girls then ? He didn't change that much did he ? ;p Looking forward to the next chapter !

saku (Chapter 4) - Mon 19 Apr 2010

I wasn´t sure if I wanted to read the new chapter but I´m glad that I did.

Finally! For a moment I thought she was regressing back but then she stayed strong and did what was right and the best for herself. I know that many authors/readers in the fanfiction world are young and want to see happy endings and that love will overcome everything but that´s often just wishful illusions. Real love and a healthy relationship is rare and I wish that everyone could taste it but like I said, it´s rare. It´s important and really helpful if the emotional and the rational side is in balance. Kagome was in a destructive relationship and thought herself in love but I still say that it´s a puppy love based mainly on the physical aspect of a relationship.

Why I reacted so strongly is first, the story is well written and second, my sister is in the same position as Kagome and I´m the one who has to pick her up when she can´t stand on her own any longer. She´s 33 years old and in a "relationship" with someone who already has a girlfriend but still comes to my sister regurlary. It´s not his fault because she lets him treat her like his bootycall, she never once told him no so he comes back and the worst thing is she really thinks that she´s in love with him and can´t live without him. See the similarity? She refuses to go to a psychologist because she´s convinced that she doesn´t has a problem even if she is in her third destructive relationship. Strangely she is only attracted to males who practically scream "trouble". I´m the opposite. We were lucky and got good genetics so we both have many suitors but were she is searching for something these males could never give her I´m the one who seldom lets someone get close to me. The difference is that I´m going to a psychologist for two years now and it helped me a great deal. The problems started with my parents and the way they treated us as we grew up and even now even if I rarely talk to them anymore. I got lucky to find my partner who really fits me well and I can only wish for everyone to find such a wonderful person to live with, it´s just aggravating that other people refuse to see everything what goes wrong in their relationship. Everything starts with yourself. You have to learn to love and respect yourself and then you can do that with other people, too.

I agree with your statement that in the anime/manga Inuyasha treated Kagome badly and she still didn´t leave him. I think it´s because she was only fifteen and as a teenager your view of love is always based on emotions only. As I´m no fan of the anime, because it´s crappy, I´ve read the whole manga and I can tell you that Kagome acts a bit different there. She was fully aware were she stood with Inuyasha as he choose Kikyou and my opinion is that she just wanted to be beside him throughout the quest because she knew she had to go back to her time when everything was over. She herself said that there is no place for her between Inuyasha and Kikyou but above everything else he was her best friend first and then her first love. At that moment she acted more mature than any adult because she is strong when it comes to the matter of the heart. She choose her friends happyness over her own because it was the right thing to do. It was always Kagome who was tested again and again and were everyone else failed when it came to the strength of heart, especially Inuyasha, she always prevailed. There were many times were I literally hated Inuyasha because of his treatment of her, that´s why I`ve become such a big Kag/Sessh fan. Sesshoumaru would do what has to be done unlike Inuyasha, who is really weak mentally. I can see that she would stay with Sesshoumaru in a similar situation but he really treated her far worse in this story. Maybe I´m too prideful but I would feel humiliated if I were in her situation but then again I´m more rational than most females. The end of the manga was one of the worst ever. Really, Rumiko should have never brought Kagome back to the past and back to Inuyasha. He simply doesn´t deserve her as a wife. Maybe she thought that after three years of seperation and mourning of Kikyou, that Inuyasha was now mature enough to be 100% devoted to Kagome. A load of crap if you ask me. He needed more time to mature and maybe someone like Rin when grown up, a nice but simple girl, would be better for him than an educated, strong-willed woman from the 21st century, born and raised in a metropolis like Tokyo.

Well, I´m glad that you decided to turn Kagome into a self-assured woman slowly. Everyone can grow and change no matter the age, they just really need the will to change.

M. Sheldon (Chapter 4) - Mon 19 Apr 2010

Nice plot. I'm really interested in the progress of your story! Please, keep up with the good work! =]

REDWOLF (Chapter 4) - Mon 19 Apr 2010

Great chapter!

redpixie (Chapter 4) - Mon 19 Apr 2010

Yes, we can definitely see in this chapter that Kagome's getting there, confidense-wise !

Still, I don't think Sesshoumaru's gonna give up easily...

The last sentence made laugh ^_^

As always, can't wait for the next chapter !

karia (Chapter 4) - Mon 19 Apr 2010

my question is why is saku taking this so seriously? the point of a fanfiction is the authers twist on the story if you dont like it dont read it?   yes loving yourself is more important then loving someone else but the sad fact is that you cant help who you love, thats the point of love its not dictated by anything rational, you cant wake up one morning and deside that well that was awsome BBUUTTT im done with loving you so PEACE DA F*** OUT!  or deside just randomly that  'ohh i love them!' its something that grows and love is twisted not all love is sunshine and rainbows, nore is it all pain and sadness but you cant have one without the other, they come toghther as shitty as that is, tell me  if someone made you feel special, one of a kind, like nothing in the world would be better then being with them would you not do anything to keep them with you?  sometimes you dont even realise what your doing to yourself  in your pursuit to be with who you want, sometime you do lose yourself but the main point of this story as i see it is finding yourself after going threw something like that, and going threw that is hard, its not becaues shes weak minded or has a f**ked  up scenc of worth its the fact that sometime you ignore whats right in  your head for something you think is right in your heart, theres a saying that god gave you a brian and a heart but didnt teach you how to use it and when your thinking with your heart you cant hear your brain, maybe you should ponder on that saku before you go around saying that people  who lose themselves  to there love deserve what they get, i could say that jaded people deserve to die alone but i dont becaues they dont, no one who is only doing what they feel deserves anything horrible in my mind thats about the same as saying that the kids in africa deserve to suffer becaues their parents desided to have them.

karia (Chapter 4) - Mon 19 Apr 2010

AHHH NOT FAIR!!!!!  i want the next chapter!!! (crying in cornner!! :'( )  please update soon!!  im actually really involved with this storie becaues it relates to me in certine aspects. and i would love to see a story  actually portray  how difficult it really is to move on from someone you love but know they dont love you with out the whole im going to kill myself theme behind it, soo update soon? pretty please?

knifethrower (Chapter 4) - Mon 19 Apr 2010

GREAT COMEBACK!  You are exactly right!  In the anime, Kagome pretty much put up with InuYasha being abusive, disloyal, and unfaithful.  She may have sat him from time to time, but she stayed, and continued to delude herself that someone who acts like that could actually care about her.  Besides, in this fanfic, you explained her vulnerability, and in the last few chapters, she has begun to put on her big girl pants!  She was intelligently assertive in this chapter, without being a psycho b****.  Nice illustration of how people can grow and change, given the determination.  I enjoyed this chapter very much!

1CarinoInu (Chapter 4) - Mon 19 Apr 2010

I like your portrayal of both characters, and the story you have created.  I remember reading the first 2 chapters a while ago and just discovered you're continuing it.  WONDERFUL.

I look forward to seeing where you take this.  And what is this secret she has that she hasn't told Sesshomaru?

mikaelalucine (Chapter 4) - Sun 18 Apr 2010
