unicornlover (Chapter 9) - Sat 07 Mar 2009
I must say that I am really enjoying this story! It has a lightness to you it and enough subtley and depth to keep things interesting. Keep up the good work!

GreyEcho (Chapter 8) - Wed 04 Mar 2009
ha hah that was awesome.

MLMonty (Chapter 8) - Mon 02 Mar 2009

So has your Sesshoumaru even considered the fact that Kagome might not be ready for a potential mate? I know a couple months have pasted but enough for her to move on?

helikesitheymikey! (Chapter 8) - Mon 02 Mar 2009
mehopes Shippo might be a consideration for Rin when he comes back. I did notice Fluffy thinking a Kistune might be appropriate for her. very interesting story. I hope you'll update soon

Lady Lillian (Chapter 8) - Sun 01 Mar 2009

I love the story thus far its just hard to think of Sango and Miroku abandoning her to die

Inu Guardian (Chapter 8) - Sun 01 Mar 2009
I would like to start by saying that I really like your story. It's very enjoyable and different. Your style of writing is wonderful. Grammar and spelling are, from what I can see, perfect. The paragraphs and your thoughts flow together nicely. They're not all choppy and short, nor are they on-going or run-on. Your later chapters seem to be more thought out than your previous ones. Chapters one and two, specifically, seem to jump around. I know it's to show the passage of time, and that not much in the way of importance occurs, but it just wasn't as enjoyable as the most recent chapters. That being said, with the jumping through time in the first few chapters, a few questions were brought to mind. First, why would Miroku and Sango just give up on someone they looked on as family? Why wouldn't they have fought harder to bring their friend back? After Kagome wakes up, why would her attitude have changed so drastically from one of complete depression, to one of what I can only describe as near hostility? Granted, I have never lost someone close to me, so maybe I can't grasp the kind of emotions that must have been going through Kagome, but after reading the manga and watching the anime, I just CANNOT see Kagome behaving in such a fassion. It just seems like the characters we have come to love so much, don't seem like themselves. They're actions are not what someone would expect them to be. Did you mean to make them out of character, or did it just happen without your intention?

WiccanMethuselah (Chapter 7) - Thu 19 Feb 2009

Yay!!! JK's still writing Sess/Kag fics!  I love the way this is beginning... and, BTW, I've always loved your take on Sesshoumaru's inner dialogues.  Dry, witty, acerbic... perfect!!  I do look forward to seeing just how Kagome is going to handle 'integrating' and what Sesshoumaru has planned for her, aside from being Rin's tutor (which would seem obvious, to me at least).  It will also be interesting to see how he keeps her from scooting off to the well as he becomes more comfortable with her and her seeming acceptance of her lot.  I know, lots of assumptions here, and they usually backfire on me, but I still can't help making them!  Glad to see your work here!!!! :-) ~~Wiccan~~

snowbird (Chapter 7) - Thu 19 Feb 2009
I'm glad she's begining to feel at peace being part of Sesshoumaru's pack. I think this is what she needs to gradually find closure with Inuyasha's death. It was puzzling that Sango and Miroku did not use force to get her away from Inuyasha's grave. You don't just abandon someone, especially a friend, like that to let them die from grief. Maybe it was a custom of those times with some religious beliefs?

not-active (Chapter 6) - Tue 30 Dec 2008

Hello :)

I like this fic mucho mucho! People do the pack instincts things, but they put in all this 'in heat and beast takes over and beast is like a separate entity' etc. I'm glad you treat Sesshoumaru as a whole being, not two types of beings in one. It's very refreshing to say the least!

I can't wait to see where this is going.

hikari hime (Chapter 6) - Sun 28 Dec 2008

Hmmmm... He's already used it on him? (his father, I mean). That would be logical, and... well, as un-canon as the third movie would be.

Oh, I know you'll come to it. And of course I intend to read each and every chapter with rapt attention, just as I did this one ^_^

I love how you describe the characters' inner workings. They stick to their canon selves quite nicely. Not to mention the fact that you're using pack behaviour in the plot line, and that's something I always appreciate. Good work lass.

GreyEcho (Chapter 5) - Fri 26 Dec 2008
I like how you took Inu yasha out of the picture. It's horrible he died and all. But I mean you didn't make him into some jerk, and it seems like a more realistic thing to happen. I didn't expect the accident.

snowbird (Chapter 1) - Thu 25 Dec 2008
I had a feeling Inuyasha would die in some way. Now in his own way, maybe Sesshoumaru can help her to heal.

hikari hime (Chapter 5) - Wed 24 Dec 2008

Yup, we all know that this kind of things can happen... my 'trap' question would be... why didn't Sesshomaru use Tenseiga to bring him back? I know you have the answer to that in your plot, but I just had to ask lol.

Anyway, I like this story so far, so, thank you for the gift, and may you spend an agreeable holiday.

snowbird (Chapter 4) - Fri 19 Dec 2008
I knew what he was doing even before I read what you wrote. haha. I think it's laughably cute. A cave can be turned into a home. We have some here deliberately built that way. I hope Kagome isn't like Izayoi and insists on a traditional house. I wish she and Inuyasha weren't so romantically involved because it will take her a long time for her emotions to switch to Sesshoumaru after whatever happens that you plan to cause her to turn to Sesshoumaru. I guess I'm just going to have to be patient which is something I'm not good at. Plus, I'm not much of an Inu/Kag fan even for a short romance. I'm also glad Inuyasha wants to wait to rut with her. Thank goodness. I'm afraid I would have skipped over that part. Now if was her and Sesshoumaru - yes! haha. I do have to admit, though, that I do like it when a romance takes its time and builds slowly between them. I just don't like her being all weepy and hung up on Inuyasha on her part though.

KaylaP (Chapter 4) - Thu 18 Dec 2008

I loved it and laughed my ass off about the hole sent marking thing, I know its normal for dogs to go around peeing on everything but I just kept picturing Sesshoumaru in his human form doing that and it cracks me up. I like how you are incorporating dog behaviour, but how will that effect the relationships? I know that wolves are monogamous for the most part but dogs normally aren't.

Katie (Chapter 4) - Thu 18 Dec 2008

lookin good so far. I love a good fic where Inuyasha isnt a total dick and he and Kagome have something together... It will be interesting to see how you break that little love fest up. Death is always a good option. Not telling you what to do... just options. Not This is really good though ... keep up the good work!

not-active (Chapter 4) - Wed 17 Dec 2008

Holy crap! This is fabulous! I await your next chapter with much anticipation :)

Krystina (Chapter 4) - Wed 17 Dec 2008

Sounds like Kagome's getting impatient. :P

Huh, learn something new every day. I knew dogs smelled much, much better than humans, but I didn't realize they smelled things that way. Thanks for the info!

I think this is one of the only fics I've read where the author really goes into detail about the dog side of Sesshoumaru's behavior. (different parts of a smell, actually marking with urine)
