Update if u can.....thanks

WiccanMethuselah (Chapter 33) - Mon 20 Sep 2010

I am crying as I'm writing this.  You and I both know what that feels like... to know a horse is giving you his all... his heart.  And we both know how much bigger than their bodies some horse's hearts truly are.  The end of this chapter reminded me so much of those classic races I'm sure we've all seen, where just one out of the trio has just enough heart to hang on to the end.  I'm still sniffling.  I could see it through your words, every bit as vivid as those I've seen on televison or in person.  You did a terrific job of capturing the essence of this race, the heartbreak and horror at the post when he fell to his knees, the determination to keep him in the race, the despair when she realized that he was fading underneath her, but still giving his all.  Damn it, now I'm sniffling again.  Excellent chapter, m'dear, beautifully done!

I'll be honest and say I am extremely disappointed. :/ I really, really wanted to see if Storm would win the Triple Crown in one chapter.

Will you be updating soon? .. Like very soon?

REDWOLF (Chapter 33) - Mon 20 Sep 2010

What a great story!

WiccanMethuselah (Chapter 32) - Tue 07 Sep 2010

Excellent description of the Triple Crown and all that leads into each race!  I think this story is quite the education for those that might be only slightly aware of the races... and you're doing a terrific job of describing all that goes into horse racing in general.  I especially loved the action in the race itself - how minute the changes are and how quickly things do change in the course of a race, along with changes in strategy that the jockeys must undertake during the race.  Even if those not involved in horses don't understand it, they are learning exactly what horse racing is all about in the most realistic, factual fashion.  As you know, *I* know what's going on, and I'm delighted that you're managing to explain it so well to those who don't!!  WONDERFUL CHAPTER!!!!!

:D

snowbird (Chapter 26) - Fri 26 Mar 2010

Kagome is stupid and too ready to believe the worst.  It's understandable the way Sesshoumaru handled the situation.  He did not want to worry her since she over reacted about the stable incident.  This is her first relationship and she's just not mature enough to think logically.  She's too emotional and hasty in her decisions.  She'll come to regret this and I'm afraid I'm not going to feel sorry for her.  I guess she'll just have to learn to grow up the hard way.

RayRay (Chapter 26) - Thu 25 Mar 2010

I don't think I've actually reviewed this story before now and I apologize for that because this is one of my top favorite stories! I absolutely love it. This chapter, oh I knew it was coming! Especially with the vengeful Yuki wanting Sesshomaru back. I feel so bad for both Kagome and Sesshomaru and I just hope that they're able to fix this and get back together. I'm thinking it's all going to come out eventually that Yuki was setting everything up. Either way, I so can't wait to read the next chapter, I always look forward to an update for this! Much love to you!

hencha87 (Chapter 23) - Wed 27 Jan 2010

awsome i love it .  Inuyasha+ horses

snowbird (Chapter 23) - Sun 10 Jan 2010

I don't like it that Sesshoumaru cut his beautiful long hair.  Kagome should have protested.  Why should a male not be able to have long hair to ride?  Females don't have to cut their hair.  My brain refuses to even try to imagine him with shorter hair.  It draws a blank so I'll just continue seeing him with it long.

WiccanMethuselah (Chapter 22) - Sun 20 Dec 2009

As I've said before, this story deserves a LOT more attention than it gets!!!  Hopefully, you get more over on ff.net, cuz you certainly merit it.  I love where you're going with Sess & Kags, and the byplay between Kouga and Ayame is great.  It's cute that Bank and Jak are helping Ayame with it.  Who knows, maybe the lack of attention is just because the story has a more equestrian theme, but that's (of course!) one of the reasons I love it.  I'm so glad that you've kept it here where it's easy for me to find, in fact, I'm favoriting it right now so that I always get notice of updates!  Another terrific chapter, thank you, m'dear!! :D ~~me~~

twist in fate (Chapter 9) - Wed 12 Aug 2009
There's a program that came on animal planet called Jockeys and it went through the lives of a few select jockeys until the breeders cup, anyways they do use a fake horse for training but I don't think they called it a dummy, all of them use it to stay in shape for racing. It's starting back up soon. Good fic btw.
