Wow, that was really great!  I really like the struggles between Sesshoumaru and Kagome - he's just to stubborn to let go and love again, and she's not going to give up easily.  Of course now that things have progressed, is he going to shut her out?  

I am sorry to hear what is going on with ur grandmother and I send my prayers and best wishes that she get's better.

I also wanted to say this new chapter was grate I loved it and im happy ur back and I hope u can finish this story,and I want to see were this "us" is going to go.

Oooh, the lovely scene at the gala was so well-described! I can totally picture Kagome looking all gorgeous in the beautiful dress, talking to Totosai with her usual sincerity and endearing nature. Sesshoumaru is totally falling for her, which is, well...about time!! Go, Sesshy, go!!

I like how you described Kagome using Sesshoumaru's perspective - it makes the story detailed, and actually adds emotions to it.

Then Kagome chose to disappear, and that got me a little nervous for awhile. You know, how jealous females ALWAYS exist in korean drama?? HAHA.

Awwww. He found her <3 and it was by the fountain too! Such pretty setting totally sets the stage for something nice. But it's kinda disappointing to see how poor Sesshoumaru is still fighting the demons of his past, unable to let go completely. Just as I thought he'd probably withdraw into his shell again, he initiated contact! That part was definitely very sweet, and I totally remember the scene where he had rushed out to save her performance.

WHAT!? Yura attacked poor Kagome?! Like, back off, you cow!! It really comes as no wonder why Sesshoumaru has never displayed interest in her.

And...*plays piano music in the background* We get a gorgeous, classic ADE moment with the kiss!! THE KISS!! ZOMG do you have any idea how my poor heart was pounding and my mind, going into overdrive mode?? The entire kiss was so well-described; it made my toes tingle. LOL. Sesshoumaru's soooooo perfect for an Asian drama hero. XD Wonderful, wonderful!!! You wrote this chapter so beautifully, my dear. I am totally craving more!

AHHHH the heavens are kind to me. I managed to see an update 5 hours before leaving for the airport!!! YAY!!! This is great joy, and the fact that the chapter was SO enjoyable made it even better!! I love the idea of Sesshoumaru coming down from his I-am-high-and-mighty pedestal; it makes him so cute and adorable! This particular line "This Sesshoumaru needs Kagome" gave me the fuzzies~ lalalala. Now the world is all beautiful and perfect!! :D I cannot wait for more, Raine, and I really adore you for putting in so much effort on your lovely story!

Muses can be a tricky thing. I hate it when I start running out of ideas.  There are a couple suggestions I can offer.  They may or may not work for you. (Hopefully they do.)

First thing is finding inspiration.  One of the BEST ways for me, is to have a "sound board." A person you can just throw out verbal ideas to and hash out back and forth.  (Have paper and pen handy!!!) My friend has never even read Inuyasha.  I had to tell her the basics first.  But in the end, the fact that she DIDN'T know the characters helped out alot because she didn't have any constraints about ideas.

Second thing you can do is look for things (movies, books, anime, manga, etc) that have a similar feel or concept that your story does.  Now, I'm not recommending you COPY their story, but even a little thing, a phrase or a scene could help you.  Some that I think might help are movies such as Save the Last Dance or Center Stage.

Third. My best ideas always come when I'm getting ready to fall asleep.  But, if you don't write it down right away, usually by morning, you will forget it.  (Don't do think if you have work or school early, lol) BUT if you dont, keep a journal to jot down bullet/notes next to your bed, so you wont forget.

Last, know where you want your story to go... write out a outline (even if you dont stick to it, it should help.) You can always re-vamp it.

Anyhow, hope this helps.

Raine, this was fantastic as always! I loved the tension...gosh, Hiten is really in character! So confident of himself!! You're doing such a good job and I hope the muse gets revived soon!! LOL. Speaking of performing, I was trying to imagine this...what if Sesshoumaru listens to Jpop or Kpop?? I am imagining him humming and dancing to songs by say, Arashi, NEWS, DBSK, SuJu or SHINee...only to be caught by Kagome!! That's got to be funny!
