This was incredibly sweet, Sesshomaru trying to restore Kagome's smile was the purest thing. He did it not because he had any other intent but to make her smile again. Heh, he'll soon know that he unexpectedly gained her undying loyalty too.
This is definitely cavity-inducing, teeth-rotting fluff <3 It wasn't only Sesshoumaru that managed to put a smile on Kagome's face, you made me smile throughout the entire story too!
"For that, he had needed to make a study of her, in a way he had never done before." - this!! HE LITERALLY DID THIS!! Sesshoumaru awkwardly scrutinising aspects of Kagome's life finding clues to make her smile again made my entiire day!
