Well that was the exact opposite of what they planned. LOL Will you have Kagome leave for three years? Will Sesshomaru be able to use the well? Or will he have to wait? That'd be terrible...

It's okay. The first chapter covered a lot, but to stop only a handful of episodes in, it can't really be expected that you'd fit two thirds of the series into one additional chapter. A third installment makes more sense and reads as less rushed. 

Excellent!  Still fighting the pull, but not quite.  Hmm, I wonder what happens next!

I hope this story has a happy ending.  I'm surprised you've planned this as a two shot.  I would think you'd need more than one chapter to wrap this up.

LOVE the take on this trope, Myth. Very unique and very well done. I love how we seem them begrudingly getting closer through the realization that this is happening to them and Sesshoumaru's struggle with what it means. Looking forward to the next chapter. I hope you're doing well! <3

This is a very different take on a somewhat overused trope and I love it. Weaving your story into the existing one without taking too many liberties makes the story flow easily, and makes it read as normal. It's predictable but your take on their interactions through/because of the normal progression is fun

Wow, I really liked how you wove the whole soulmates idea into the canon. Well done!

it also appears that Sesshomaru isn't really positive he wants the connection severed. It's like whene Kagome touched him his subconscious reveled in the contact.
