what a wonderful submission for Valentine's! The ending was super hot and intense, I loved how out of control Sesshoumaru was and how much Kagome's methods surprised him. XD
Inuyasha is more than a jerk in this one, I can't believe he wanted to leave Kagome just like that waiting for him the whole day while he had some fun with Kikyou!!! He was trying to hurt her deliberately! I'm glad Shippou decided to inform her. That he asked Souten to be his Valentine was a sweet detail btw.
I loved the part where Kagome reflected on her relationship with Inuyasha. They drifted apart with time and you described those stages in depth. I think that was the strongest part of this one shot!
Sesshoumaru's entrance was kind of funny. Especially the fact that he only takes care of Kagome because they were/are some sort of allys. Right. Then why was he being so gentle with her? Why let her even rest on his body? That is more that what he had to do for an "ally". XD The Tensaiga part was kind of interesting, and the question remains whether it really led him to her. I like that thought.
Now about the transition between Kagome waking up and them "cuddling" in the cave. I don't know whether this is because I read your one shot before going to bed, thus I'm tired, but I was kind of disappointment? Like where is the awkwardness? Their relationship lives from those awkward moments. Kagome was kind of too chatty, and not the "I'm embarrassed as fuck and don't know what to do" chatty. Sesshoumaru admitting that he knows the meaning of love surprised me...like what?
The "look me into the eyes" part was on point! I already stated that I loved the ending. Thanks for sharing, Walter!
