Yay! New chapter so soon.  I was so excited to see this up. Now what's going to happen with Kagome and Naraku.  Hope Sesshomaru doesn't think she likes him.  Can't wait to see the new chapter soon. This story is so fun!  Also, I love Naraku. Even when he's evil and terrible.  Idk whatbit is.  I ship him any day.  Anyways, I look forward to seeing how this plays out!

Ooooooo, this is getting good. Now we've met Kagura and Naraku, I wonder how that will play out.  Will they find out Kagome is a Miko?  Can't wait to see the new chapter and I was so excited to see 2 new chapters today! Just made my day!  Those next 11 days of planning are going to be interesting between Kagome and Sesshomaru.

So he does have a heart! =D

Finally! Thank you for this update. NOW I love Kagome ;). I love this interaction. It seems genuine to both the plot and true to the characters you developed. The progression seems natural and they are logical. I like the pacing as it doesn't seem like it will be rushed.

P.S. See I knew if she came at him in a professional manner that he would have behaved civilly. Well their interaction would have been smoother. Haha

Haha. Wow rude receptionist. If this is a large business shouldn't Sesshomaru have his secretary send out a memo to security and give Kagome a temporary pass to his floor. In reality, I'm not sure if he necessarily has to come for her or even work with her. This party may be important but wouldn't the secretary or his lackeys aka assistant handle this and maybe he just approve the final decision? Is she just doing this to show that he "needs" her? Youkai who celebrate Christmas could also have planned it so I'm not seeing how she is the only person who can do this task. Even his dad seems like he could plan one he'll of a party. His wife could also help (Inuyasha's mom).

I know it's supposed to be fun and fluff but she kinda doing the same judgemental thing by slut shaming the receptionist in her mind. True she doesn't comment on them but Sesshomaru didn't comment on how he hated humans despite his beliefs. I just dont think he wanted to be bothered with some human who didn't seem serious. Ok so she doesn't want to be hated for being human but she doesn't know if youkai behavior might be more permissive given their long life spans and even humans tend to be more erotically forward these days so how does she know that the 2 youkai aren't lovers? Just saying.

Wow I'm loving this so far. But I question Kagome's motivation. She knew he hated humans but showed up in a ridiculous outfit, it seems, just to get an annoyed reaction. As a human I'm glad she stood up for us but if there was 1 thing she admitted being told about Sesshomaru, was that he was a professional. So it seems her goal was to annoy him by definitely not dressing professional for this meeting and then scold him for thinking she was not up for the task of planning his business party. Sorry but I think she is wrong on this front and if she met a human bigshot, even in Japan, she may have gotten the same reaction. Favor or not she is meeting for a job essentially. Secondly while her points were valid about humans, and him living in the past, I'm not sure she did anything for his opinion of humans with this interaction. 

If she showed up looking professional and he was looking at her in disgust, I would understand but she didn't. And not to be a traitor to my species, but youkai vary in rank and power just like humans, so I think beings such as the rabbit youkai at the cafe would still serve the same functions that she assigned solely to humans in the company. In fact, is she saying that humans can and should only do menial day to day tasks for the company? The fact that he works with humans says that he can tolerate us, so again, I'm not sure if her argument has merit. (she probably doesn't know about the 5 floors of separation haha but it said a few was up there with him I think)

That said, I absolutely love, love the portrayal of Sesshomaru in this, inupapa is also gold in this. I'm am also very, very pleased that Kagome has full control of her powers and the confidence that comes with it. This story is already shaping up to be epic and I know I have more to read but it's so good I couldn't hold my peace.????

I'm looking forward to reading more and to see his comeback on their next interaction. Thank you for sharing this story with us and I look forward to reading this to its completion.

OMG, this was an excellent chapter. LOL, Sesshoumaru should have been a little more concerned about her not having a scent, like maybe she was hiding it, and why she would do that? You missed the clue Sessh

Ha! I bet that will knock him down a peg or two! Go Kagome! Oh and when he finds out just what she is, priceless.
