I really liked this story up until this chapter... But you've turned Sesshomaru into a creepy, voyeuristic stalker. Which is both uncharacteristic - as he has too much honor to and arrogance to stoop so low as to sneak a peek - and disturbing. Would you want some guy you barely know and have no interest in following you around and watching you bathe and have the fact that he's thinking "No, I won't sleep with her because of her race!" be the only thing stopping him from raping you? Because with the innocence you've given her it would be rape.

Your storytelling is good - I like your twist on The Little Mermaid, and I'm intrigued by the missing mermaids. And the mating make is an interesting plot point. I really want to find out where this story goes - but the story is now so triggering that I can no longer read it.

Yay! Finally able to review. I have to disagree with an earlier comment. It would be kind of upseting to see Kagome with someone else. :( However I must say, Sesshomaru's behavior at the moment is a bit nausiating and his logic is also very laughable. How is it that he finds bedding with *a pure* human disgusting but he's o.k. with laying with the concubines of another lord *who has also obviously used them*? 0_o In the most recent chapter, isn't he jumping the gun by asking Bokuseno if a Merling and a drylander can have a child? He's already thinking about getting Kagome with child!? Can't he just control wether the female gets pregnant or not? Or else he's going to be in trouble with all the concubines he "plowed through". -_^ (Unless they take birth control tea?, it is feudal times).

Regarding Sesshomaru's father, how did he find out about Kagome? Was it really Jaken?

Also, what's really going on with Rin? Is she a Merling too? Did she also forget her past?

What would happen if Kagome were to enter the sea? Would any changes occur *cough, cough, her eyes*?

I'm looking forward to the next update and great story writing.

This was a nice chapter. I think Sess would have remembered her if her eyes were her former color blue, but even so he should have rememberd regardless. Well I hope they can teach Kagome how to read and write so that way she can at least communicate. Interesting plot twist with the possible connection between Rin and Kagome. Good story and nicely written. Update soon.
