It almost seemed... anticlimatic. Such a build up and yet Kikyou lost so quickly. I guess Kagome is that much of a BAMF. I can't wait to see how you clear up the rest of the family drama. Its almost sad coming to the end, but its been a heck of a ride. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

I find the decision of Youta and Shippo acceptable, Sesshoumaru does not go back on his words and I hope he does not.  Looking forward to the next chapter.

Alright! Time to get down to business. And way to put things in perspective for Youta. Nothing like raising a gaggle of children and running a country that's under attack. Talk about top notch parents. I can't wait to see what happens next and if Sesshoumaru can keep a dark Kagome in check :)

Another great chapter.  I do feel that Amadeus got off a little too easy.  He might be her friend but he doesn't have any say in what or how she does things.  I wish Kagome had the ability to show the men what she felt and went through, through her eyes.  I'll handle Amadeus being his over-important self if it means little to none of Sesshomaru's "best friend" in the rest of the story :D

Sesshoumaru actually feeling like he is pregnant too. Classic. And being so freaked out. I guess if he didn't know what was wrong that would make sense. But talk about being too close. And I do like the idea of everyone actually dealing with the fallout of her sacrifice. I can't wait to see what you come up with next and what happens next time :)

I loved the way you wrote this chapter in dealing with the emotions going through everyone close to Kagome. There seem to be a couple of things going on here: first Sessho's phantom pregnancy feelings that he is experiencing through the bond with Kagome is hilarious and sad in that he does not know what it is that is happening to him and his friend Eichi (some friend) knows but will not tell him because he is getting a kick out of seeing Sessho suffering. I would kick his ass if it were me. These are all demons here that do not understand how Kagome, being a human, thinks and feels. It is in her nature to want to save and heal people regardless of who they are, if need be to sacrifice herself and her child to do so especially if these people are her friends, mate and family. Any loving person would. Amadeus was totally out of line and ungrateful. He deserved what Kagome did to him. Sessho should have understood becaue they are mates and mates sacrifice for one another; on the other hand his anger was kind of justified because Kagome is the Lady of the West and is expected to lead the people until his heir, Youta, is able to take over.

I love the way you are showing all these different emotions especially in Sessho and the interactions between him and Kagome in the aftermath of the event. Your writing is so wonderful and enthralling. I love reading this story because it is fascinating and enjoyable. I look forward to reading more future chapters btw how many more chapters are left in this story?

I love that you're playing up the sacrifice Kagome made and how it's affecting everyone.  I hope she gets to remind her mate and her guard (whom I hope she keeps dismissed for a long while), that it's her nature to heal and save lifes.  The fact that they are avoiding her and treating her so poorly while she's pregnant and after such a big scare... it makes me really dislike them right now.  I'd love if Sesshomaru had to experience Kagome's terror at losing him and raising their child alone (since he's experiencing physical symptoms, let him deal with the emotions too.)  Sesshomaru is comforting her, but he still puts how Amadeus feels ahead of her decisions and while I'm writing.. Eiichi is flat annoying.  I guess he's supposed to be the comedic relief but he's just disrespectful towards his "friends".  I've been actively enjoying this story since the beginning, but this new twist with Kagome being beat down and shit on because she didn't want her mate and close friend to die.. If they don't appreciate her effort then maybe Kagome needs to step away from all of them and have some time to herself.  Sesshomaru won't have to avoid her, Amadeus won't have to be smug and pissy like a child, and Eiichi can be obnoxious on his own time.  I will definitely keep reading, but I hope that Kagome for once isn't so quick to forgive.
