It's really good with fruit or, if you're feeling particularly unhealthy, a bit of powdered sugar/cinnamon. Some even melt a little butter for it, but that's not to my taste. We even make tacos and pizzas on it

Funny that you say that, because I had someone else mention those American Girl books. There was one with that girl.... Kaya'aton'my? Yeah, that's it I actually read the book after someone mentioned it and those authors really did their homework! I don't know how accurate those books you mentioned are, but I used to love those kinds of things as a kid
