Get those applications in! If you wait too long, you could be screwed when it comes to getting in on time. For me, even getting into the community college, it took several months playing paperwork hockey and then getting all of the proper information. It sucked butt, but it was worth it.

I'm studying Mandarin in school now. I'm working on their Chinese Studies certificate, which is going to look fabu on my transcript when I transfer out for my bachelor's degree somewhere else.
