Thank you for your review and questions about Blind Love. I posted a new chapter this morning ( like four am :blink addressing the age issue. I just left it up to the readers to solidify an age in their mind. The only age that is truly important is the fact she was seven when she lost her sight. That will be explained later. I hope you liked the focus chapter about Sesshomaru! I can tell you there will be a focus chapter on Kagome and Kouga's relationship as well as Kagome's relationship with both Miroku and Sango. They will be later on though. I hope that answered your questions.

I hadn't actually considered much about Inuyasha except for him being hanyou, and nods, you're right, he wouldn't know much about youkai especially inuyoukai etiquette. Being raised by his mother and all, and Papa Taisho dying before he really knew him. Plus with Sesshy rejecting him utterly.

Ouch.

I know that another reviewer made a comment about Shippou being clever too. XD, With his wishing Kagome to be an inuyoukai and not a kitsune.

I think you and that reviewer have given me a way to make little Shippou a genius, save Inuyasha, and make Sesshoumaru suffer the most horrible fate just for comedic relief.

Unfortunately, I really doubt I'm going to continue that particular one. ^^; I feel that a lot of fics have already been written about the whole arranged marriage business, I've even written one before myself, so I don't really have any great urge to further explore this premise.

But if you don't mind I can clarify me thoughts of the setting for you. So it is a historical AU, set somewhere in the Edo period. The story portrays the classic Yome ni iku, i.e. leaving home to be a bride, as women that time would join their husband's family/clan. In this setting, the demons have negotiated for a while with the Shogunate about there being an official grant of lands, that they would have their own territory that the humans would legally recognise. I had the thought in this story there would not be the typical fanon cardinal lords, rather a youkai council where a member of each prominent species (kitsune, dragon, inu, neko, ookami, tanuki etc.) would have a representative, and Sessmama would represent the inuyoukai. The youkai and the Shogunate finally agree on the grant of lands, and decide on a marriage that would seal the deal. One of the blood relatives of youkai council members, Sess, would marry a daughter of one of the Shogun's officials, Kagome. So they sent her forth with an escort, to go to her wedding and her new home.

I feel bad to cut Rin's descendants off like that, but I did not want too many characters to be included in the story if you know what I mean. You do not have to worry about the background stories of our fellow characters like Inuyasha and Shippo! I will include it all in time. With all due time...everything will reveal. Just beware, I like twists and turns in my plot
