Other than that, I'm just another fan of the Sesshoumaru/Kagome pairing. Actually, I'm more of a Sesshoumaru fan, but seeing him paired up with some OC masquerading as the author's alter ego didn't do it for me. He really is difficult to pair up, but the best fanfics seem to have him with Kagome. There might some good ones with Rin, but for some reason, this bothers me so I can't read more than a chapter before I give up. Then I saw some drawings by Youkai Yume and Technoefie and I went yeah....

 

By the way, I don't own Kuromi, my portrait. That right belongs to Sanrio. But I adore the contrasting cuteness with the total impishness of the character. Kind of like me...not the cute part, but the imp part. People are always surprised that I'm not always the nice person I seem. Mwuhahahahahahaha!

I truthfully did not forsee "Sesshoumaru" taking so long to finish. I have a chapter 14 and 15 ready to go, but I hesitate to post them since I am so worried about how they will flow into the next chapters. It's that stage of writing where you have those chapters that are just plain difficult to work with but everything after it is ready to go. It's just making a smooth transition....

If it's any consolation, I have been working on 16 and 17 (my troublesome chapters) and they are nearly completed to almost my satisfaction.

Thank you for reviewing Her Scent, again, and I am really glad you liked Rin's prank. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't be following the prompt enough, as the reason she did so is only slightly implied, but I also did not want her to be OOC.

Thank you so much for that kind review on my drabble collection. I might expand on one of them later on if I ever need something to write about.
I'm glad you liked the interaction between a more mature Kagome and Inuyasha (if they just couldn't find each other as anything other than friends, then I know that time would be the best healing for the two)...and I couldn't help throwing in a sweet-and-naive Mama H for humor after that touching friendship moment.

The first drabble was a silly one, because I thought no one would write about plastic surgery for the "tuck" prompt (Nip-Tuck? c'mon! ). But I adore the idea of the villains suffering a droll and mundane reincarnated life in the present. Byakuya as Mama and Naraku as Eri are just two of the crack!fic ideas I had.

Anyway, thank you!

Awwww jgem, thank you for your kind review on Happily Ever After! I know right? LOL I was totally going on and on about how I was going to avoid expanding this fic into something too intricate and complex, but ended up shooting myself right in the foot with the family drama I've created! Now I've got to settle it for Kagome and Sesshoumaru. Damn. I hope whatever I come up with next would be satisfactory.

I just went through "A Passing Fancy" for the first time and I just wanted to thank you for taking time to translate it!! That was really cool of you. I'm trying to teach myself Japanese now and I couldn't even figure that kanji to save my life! lol I've only managed some phrases and only a few kanji. *sigh* oh wellz, I'll get it. Everyone starts somewhere, right?
Feedback from jgem: I found it easier to just focus on the hiragana and build up my vocabulary. The kanji comes with time and a good kanji dicitionary! Though kanji helps, at least with Japanese you can write with just hiragana.

Yeah, I'm sure that the stories are very hard to combine, especially with the role reversal you did with Sesshomaru and Kagome, but I think that you're doing marvelously! Keep up the good work! I can't wait for your next update!
