Since everyone's human, it would be more realistic to make Sesshoumaru's hair black, buuut I think I'm keeping it silver-white. I kept his canon eye colour already and I think it'll be easier for the readers to picture him with his canon colouring. Maybe there's a genetic quirk in the family or something. I didn't mention the hair colour in the chapter since at the moment of writing it I was still undecided on it myself.

It's true there were a lot of emotions going on in this chapter!

And yeah, I kind of headcanon that youkai culture is a bit more touchy-feely? And that a simple touch can just be a sign of comfort without any "strings" attached.

Bit surprised you thought it short, though? This was actually the longest chapter I've written in a while - two years, maybe? xD Of course, every chapter of this story is 3,000 words minimum so any variation between chapters is only a few hundred words or so.

Anyway, I'm glad you like my characterisation of Sesshoumaru! I do sometimes worry about making him a little OOC, since I prefer him to be a bit... softer, than what he often is portrayed in the fanon. ^^;

Thank you so much for your review!! Yes this is my very first fanfic. I re read the chapters and have my beta go over them to try and get all mistakes out but can't seem to get em all. It's hard on this site to edit a chapter, I'm not sure why but on this site once I post something it becomes nearly impossible to edit. Chapter 4 drives me nuts I want to make edits but every time I do it clumps all the words together. So atleast currently it's readable lol. I'm really glad you're enjoying my story so far! I hope you stray tuned for more.
