Sorry for confusing you Sassy C. In my story Blood sharing has little rite meaning. The only thing the Blood does is sustain Kagome. They are both alive inside the Jewel so they need to eat something. Sesshomaru eats youkai to sustain himself, and Kagome drinks his Blood. It's not addictive or anything. It does taste strange but I think that's mostly the youki that's circulating in his blood.

When she thinks about the last time she will drink, she's thinking more in the "Will he kill me?" or "Now that he's not eating anymore...when will his blood stop serving as my sustain?"

Hope this helps a little.
