Thank you so much for your review! You are 100% right. Honestly the first two chapters really wasn't/isn't what the story is about: it is merely the set up. To understand Kagome in future chapters, these first two chapters were needed. Chapter 3 will be very similar, however chapter three, to me, really is going to be the beginning of the actual story.


'As It Will Be' IS a tragedy. Someone we all love VERY much will die. However, in general, the story will be FAR more lighthearted than Autumn. It's still going to be serious and have a lot of emotion, but it will be nothing like Autumn.

Surprisingly enough I don't think anyone has yet complained about the pace I've set for this story. I do try to aim for realism, so I'm glad everyone seems to have received this story well and that they haven't been any impatient demands for romance.

And you're completely right; the commonalities between Sesshomaru and Kagome are what makes them a believable pairing for me, as well. I think once Shippo is comfortable with Sesshomaru that he will look up to him as a father rather than see him as a brother-like rival. Sesshomaru just has a natural (though, not necessarily obvious) paternal instinct that Inuyasha sometimes lacks. Thank you again for your review! I hope you continue to enjoy the story
