Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your encouragement! I'm well aware of how publishers work... it's all marketing and numbers. Quality always comes second, regrettably. If it did come first then I wouldn't have to see a billboard with every latest bestseller that should have never gotten published in the first place on my way to work every morning. But, such is the way of things. I'm willing to bend, though I do have limits. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to show your support. It really means a lot!

First, thank you for going through and giving your thoughts on RUTH, your reviews have made for amazing reading, and in some ways make me wish I could go back and edit, tweak things and make them a little better.

For the most recent review, about the well, I promise, with everything I am, that it *will* be explained, and that thread will be taken care of before the story is over. It was one of the big ones, and plays into the story throughout it. I know I'm being vague, but I'm always worried I'll give spoilers, and that would be bad lol.

Prudence is a Beatles reference for 'Dear Prudence' and 'Vera' is a reference to a Pink Floyd song. But they're actually listening to Buddy Holly in the chapter.
