Yeah, the ending was one of those things that I wasn't too satisfied with because I think I was trying to do something that didn't quite make sense. And then I just left it because it wasn't getting better -_-;

I admit, I used to be a review-hungry author when I had first started out on fanfiction five years ago. But now, it's more about the number of hits. Knowing that there are people out there who bother to click on each updated chapter once it is uploaded just so as to read it makes me satisfied Knowing that you're one of those amazing readers who enjoy my story is good enough for me.

Thank you for tolerating my mistakes - English is my first language, but it is not my mother tongue (Mandarin). I speak Japanese too, having taken lessons in it for nine years, so I'm what you might call a jack at all trades and master of none.

The Third Parties is a very refreshing story to write, because unlike the usual ones I've been doing, it's weak in terms of its setting. There's no particular background on which it's based, contrary to my other story Wisteria. (Though I can't deny Wisteria is taking a turn for the dark side) Rather, this story is fueled by emotions, which makes it more suitable for mature readers who can understand the intricate social webs. It's raw emotion after raw emotion in every chapter, and what I wanted to share with the readers is the complexity of the hearts involved and the interaction among the characters. It makes me think as I go along, and I appreciate the thinking process as it helps me in terms of character development as well. I think of myself as pretty young (22), so there's still a lot for me to learn and understand. The Third Parties was my brainchild, but it kinda became my teacher as I went along, especially with the help of the amazing reviews I've received. But then again, I might be thinking too highly of my story. Sometimes, I get the impression that it sounds like a "Handbook for the Emo". LOL.
