hahaha well, my mom says the same thing a lot so I always remember the "delicious water when thirsty" thingie XD
ahaha, I guess it's that. LOL I mean, I have a friend who writes too and she's awesome! She keeps telling me she's not good at it and that she can't see what's special about it but I think she's just awesome! She couldn't see it coz it's her work(as you said~) LOL but I do admit my writing's still lacking~ I have a hard time remembering words I could use to convey what I want to express. After all, English isn't my primary language.

Hello = Kumusta (pronounced as Kamusta). It can also be translated as "How are you?" and is a polite manner of greeting someone.
Goodbye = Paalam (pa-alam)
My name is [name] = Ako si [name] *this is the casual manner of introducing yourself*
Good Morning = Magandang Umaga
Good Evening = Magandang Gabi
I'm Sorry, I don't understand you = Paumanhin ngunit hindi kita maintindihan
I Love You = Mahal Kita
I'm Sorry/Forgive me = Patawarin mo ako
Japanese = Hapon
American = Amerikano

Well, these are the basics~ ^^

of course I can teach you XD I'd be happy to~ you can ask me to translate english to tagalog, I think that'll be a good start~
Oh, I haven't tried posting my works online yet, but I will when I'm confident enough LOL I mean, I still have a lot of editing to do.
It's like appreciating water, I guess. You'll only realize how delicious water is if you're thirsty~ ^^

Sorry for the super late reply~ T.T I was my family's personal maid~ LOL Well, I AM the only one not so busy here at home. Everyone's either working or going to school. It sucks being unemployed @_@
OMG, you know a LOT hahaha Now I can't sit next to a person who knows more than 7 languages XP
Tagalog? lol I've never heard someone thinks our language is pretty~ You're the first~So YAY~!! XD I'm glad you think it's pretty~ XD
I'm willing to teach you some if you like~ though I'm no real expert at it coz some of the deeper words native Filipinos use are kinda difficult for me to memorize haha And maybe just like Native Americans, we Filipinos have different languages based on different provinces, and they sound very different from each other
YYEEESS!! Icky Writer's block indeed! I hate it when my mind's blocking me of good ideas. T.T Right now I'm working on an original story but developing it will take a little longer than I've expected T.T I have a plot in mind and I'm working on the first few chapters to develop some of the characters. It's a sad story so I'm trying my best to be realistic~ Human emotions shouldn't be played at and the more realistic they are, the more our readers would be able to feel them.
Oooohh~ you made an update~! I'll go read read read

LOL you made me snicker with what you’ve said about reality!! My tuition class kids were giving me the “Jasmine, are you alright?” face. LOL. Awww sweetie, Math is gross, trust me. But while I don’t like it, I am able to do it, so I figured I might as well earn some cash from teaching it to kids. Speaking of whom, I have a really cute seven year-old who calls me ‘Teacher’, and she has a way of saying, ‘Teacher, potty’ whenever she needs to go to the bathroom. How cute~

*shudders* That was one creepy tale!!! But at the same time, it’s really kinda sad, because the ghost had been trying to save her husband. It’s tragic that she had to die such an unjust death…those rules should be damned! She didn’t deserve it. I hope those who punished her so unjustly got what they deserved. But…whyyyy do ghosts ALWAYS haunt people in black or white dresses?? In Chinese folklore, red is the color as well. Apparently, people who commit suicide while wearing red will turn in vengeful ghosts, and will definitely exact revenge on those who drove them to it. Talk about creepy, really!!

Yeah I have to agree on House! They teach you moral stuff as you watch the show, which is really good. I love American TV shows When my dad asked me why I’d like to go to the US I told him part of the reason was because I wanted to see those buildings and neighborhoods that I’ve seen on TV for myself. Speaking of my dad, he goes to Chicago, Florida and Colorado for his business trips. He likes Colorado best, partly because he has a good friend there with whom he goes trout fishing whenever he visits. And he gets invited to their place for dinner, which is a nice experience because he gets to see how the typical American family is like. Lucky him…*grumbles* You like Tigger too!!! He’s the cutest. I definitely watched Tigger movie, and yes, it was quite a teary experience LOL.

Awww sweetie, my French is dreadful! I can barely speak it though I’ve studied it for two years in university, and all I can do is type short, simple sentences!! I’ve lost count of the times when I meet French-speaking people and attempt to talk to them only to end up saying, “Encore une fois, s’il vous plait” until they get tired of it and switch to speaking English. LOL.

Those dresses are ABSO-TOTAL-LUTELY gorgeous!!!! *bursts into bouts of insane fangasms* OMG OMG they are bee-yoooooo-tee-fooool!! I am sure you’re going to be soooo gorgeous in any of those, my dear! I love it when people get married…it’s such a beautiful event. Are you one for fancy weddings with lots of friends and relatives, or for those quiet engagement parties with a tiny group of loved ones?

And sweetie, you know, I got to the 72nd page of Shanghai, and I totally made myself cry with what I was writing. Arrrrgh. It is getting harder and harder to write it because it is getting so dark. But I swear I’ll get more of it done so we can see more updates! I’ve just posted both Happily Ever After and Shanghai, so I am kinda drained. LOL.

I cracked up when I saw ‘State bug’, ‘state rock’…I am wondering what other things there could be! Like, hmmm, state candy or state hair color LOL.

Hi love!! I am sorry for not replying sooner...reality caught up with me and I had to work. *sobs* You see, I give home tuition to kids in math, and they'll be having their mid-term exams soon, which means I had to come up with practice questions and whatnot. But now I am less busy, and lazing around in my lazy outfit~

The Salem trials were downright creepy! Speaking of creepy, something happened in my extended family lately. My cousin, who is serving in the army, was away at this offshore island for their training. As you already know, this month is a pretty 'special' month for the Chinese, so he was being extremely cautious with what he did or said in public. So what happened was, he woke up as always in his bunk to find a few strands of looooong black hair on his bed. There are no females in camp, and the guys all sport the typical soldier-cut hairstyle...so the question is...how did the hair get there?? Hmmmm. So needless to say, they started praying and hanging up all kinds of religious stuff they could find. *shudders*

Oooooooooh YOULOVEHOUSETOO!!! I adore it~ I remember there was this line which struck me really hard...something along the lines of "Being a doctor is not your dream; it's just your dream title." random things just have a way of staying in my mind! Oooh Pooh Bear is cute! I like him and his tummy, though I love Tigger more

Awwww sweetie, I cannot even try imagining anyone not liking you!! You've spent some time in France, haven't you? Je t'aimerai toujours!

LOL sweetie, you're so cute!! It comes as no surprise that people barely know Singapore...this place is actually more of an island than a country, considering its geographical size. I feel like a goldfish in a bowl sometimes LOL. But yup, it's pretty connected to the US Speaking of the US, I am so envious of my dad because he is ALWAYS going to the US on business trips. Lucky him...*grumbles and kicks stones*

Awww, POP goes the bubble!! I was getting the confetti out already, LOL! LOL I haven't picked out my wedding dress though, sweetie! What I need to pick out is a good guy first. I am definitely looking forward to seeing what dress you have in mind though!! WOOHOO! Now I am all giddy with excitement again!

I LOL-ed at the Iowa fast facts...you're so cute, really! I wish I could give you huggles XD State song??? Hahahahahahaha I promise to keep it in mind if I ever visit the place! I might be going to North Carolina next year or the year after next because my friend is pursuing his PhD at UNC, and he told us to go visit him.

LOL my eyebags are awesome-possum eyebags!! They could probably hide something in them. *makes mental note to sleep earlier* But then again, who sleeps early when they have Dokuga?? So... HMMM. I love brown/taupe palettes for eye shadow, and I like it when they come with rose pink shades! Sadly, I cannot wear purple. Green eyes are soooo pretty!! I am a very pastel-colors person, and I look best in white, pink, baby yellow...

It's sweet that your brothers are protective of you!! Isn't it nice to have so many doting brothers/bodyguards?? You are the envy of many girls, darling! Is the age gap between you guys a big one?

Uggggh I totally know what you mean about those high-maintenance girls...those BARBIES. Eeeeeew. It's gross, really, and I have no idea why they are popular with men. Do the guys really like that sort of girls? Isn't it strange to kiss a pair of lips filled with silicon?? *confused* I will not apologize either! *tries to look fierce* MissTeak dislikes Barbies! :/ Acrylic nails are crazy stuff. I had them once because I got a special deal from the nail spa place, and I've never felt more disabled in my entire life. I couldn't type properly or zip my jeans up or wear my contacts. HURHURHUR. NEVER AGAIN, acrylic nails.

*gives Siki huggles* REAL girls FTW!!

On the other hand, have you heard of Singapore prior to knowing me? I won't be surprised if you said no, actually. My friend went to the UK on exchange (I went to Japan for mine!) and someone asked her which part of China Singapore was in... (=.=)" I had a good laugh when I heard that! This place is REALLY tiny.

Ooooh MAP! LOL. You guys live kinda far from each other...from what I can see on the map, that is. I agree with you on well-marked maps...whatever would we do without them??

OMG sweetie, false eyelashes!!! I bet it makes you look all gorgeous and dolly~ They are really great for enhancing the eyes, but I can never put them on properly, and I can't get used to the feeling of something adhered to my lash line, so I barely use them. For me, it's concealer for my eye bags and freckles, zits here and there, and eye liner. That's about it! But I have to admit; I love playing around with eye colors! I'd love to try blue but it doesn't agree with my skin tone, unfortunately.

Awww you're so sweet! Yes I shall do Fluffy Teddy Bear attacks then! I just reminded myself of a care bear (God forbid!) but yeah...that's random, LOL. Twin hook swords?? Fencing?? My goodness, is there anything you CANNOT do?? My dear, you can do everything. Everything. I am sooooo impressed by you and soooooo ashamed of myself now. I'll contact you if I ever require lessons in the crossbow or longbow. *looks up at Siki's profile*

It's really sweet that you idolize your brothers! I never really had anyone to idolize, but I found my makeup artist cousin really cool. I guess my brothers kinda idolized me? but it definitely changed as the years went by! Now we get along really well, and it's more like good friends rather than little followers behind one older leader. High maintenance girls...how would you describe them? (I am actually a sucker for labels, so I am feeling now)

LOL Yay Siki thinks I am pretty! *dances* The glasses+bun combination is not too pretty (at least on me) but it's soooo comfy to simply laze around the house like that. Just glasses, crappy big tee shirts and shorts, without makeup...that's the life!

Oh yes, I've definitely heard of the Salem witch trials. It's really, really creepy!! I watched some documentary on them before, and I remember being unable to sleep that night. LOL of course I don't think of everyone as drunken prostitutes! I've watched House as well and it is a great show. But then again, I watch TV all the time.

Aww my dear I'm sorry to hear about the way your friend was treated in Russia! But then again, I can understand why...I mean, anyone who knows a little about the Cold War would know. Over here in Singapore, well...to be entirely honest, well, sometimes people are under the impression that Americans are (stereotypically) people who are too rich, obnoxious, overweight from too much burgers and fries and takeout Chinese food, and they use the most energy compared to anyone else on earth... But of course, that's what a small minority think, most people do not think so, especially when we have American friends. I have a few of them, and am pretty close to this Japanese-American friend of mine. besides, historically, the US has always been very very important to Singapore. Politically, it is an important ally while economically, a very important trade partner. And even my grandma, who's in her 70s, still says that Singapore would still be under Japanese rule if not for the American intervention in the second world war...so... the impression's all good! Besides, my darling Siki is American!! *hugggles* There's no reason for me to not like Americans.

WEDDING!! DID YOU SAY WEDDING??! *goes giddy with excitement* I get very hyper and happy whenever I hear the word 'wedding'...*bounces in excitement* When?? And AHHHHH!! Is it possible to die from looking at a computer screen?? those men are smokin' hot!!! ZOMG. *runs wildly in circles* I will do my best to get one that looks like that, sweetie!

Anyway sweetie, I'd need to go out for awhile, so I'll continue the reply later at night! Much love to you!

P.S. I am sorry for taking so long with this reply...I went on a writing rampage for 'Shanghai' and now the word document is a whopping 69 pages long.

LOL Siki dear you're too kind!!! I am VERY average in the looks department! I'm sure YOU are the beautiful one. You should see me in my nerdy glasses with my hair in a messy bun =.= But as you can see, I've decided to change my profile picture to the Shanghai 1930s look! My smile's really creepy though *shudders* I am so sorry but I don't remember which brush she used...but you're right, she's pretty good at what she does for a living. I had great fun being her living canvas.

Oh gosh, now I am REALLY creeped out. Meet the Devil?? Screaming children?? Now that's something about the US that I never knew! LOL my knowledge of the US comes from reality TV, discovery home and health, CSI, The Mentalist and whatnot. I am obviously a couch potato, as you can see.

Awww you guys must be a very beautiful couple! That's so sweet. You are BOTH lucky people! I get all happy and bouncy when I know people are in love. LOL I think I am a little strange at times but oh well. I'll get one who looks like this one day and we can make a dozen pretty babies:

http://www.takeshikaneshiro.org/pictures/d/2046-1/takeshi_kaneshiro+with+short+spiky+hairstyle.jpg

*floats away to dreamland on a happy cloud, giggling crazily*

LOL! I was hoping we didn't get to the geography part. Pardon the language, but I TOTALLY SUCK AT GEOGRAPHY. I have no idea how to read a compass, and I think GPS is the best invention ever. I don't even know which part of the US Iowa is.

SIZZLING-SMEX-ON-LEGS!! *starts drooooling* I hope we can find Sesshy-lookalikes!! (Now I really need a bop on the head. Someone wake me up before I drown in my own drool in the dream) Makeup is lovely, and I really love being a girl because we get to use makeup!! Do you put on makeup every time you go out?

I definitely enjoy tormenting my brothers, but they do have a way of taking revenge sometimes. The older of the two loves watching WWE, and he tends to think of himself as being one of those enormous wrestlers. Guess who he tries those moves on?

...
...
...you've got it.

ME. POOR ME. POOR ME-WHO-IS-SHORTER-AND-LIGHTER.

Guess how much I like being tackled and pressed flat on the bed, flailing my arms and yelling for help?

LOL!!! 'cute and nonthreatening'! You are such a sweetheart, really. My friends prefer the term 'harmless', and I feel like a stuffed toy sometimes. hahaha I joined the school martial arts club back then because my brothers were in it. But I was not too talented...we all joined at the same time, and after two months, they progressed to the class which taught them how to fight with Chinese fans and I was still stuck at doing the bare fist routines. Siki dear, I think I am better off being a stuffed toy.

So...I quit and the boys subsequently went up the ranks. The older one wields a Chinese sabre (shaped like Inuyasha's Tessaiga) and the younger one wields the sword. It's kinda like Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha reversed, but a lot less cool.

Being the only girl, did you play by yourself or with your brothers when you were little?

*rubs furiously at goose bumps*

WOAH. OMG. Made of glass? Did you say glass? *eyes bulges* That's crazy, really. OMG really, really crazy. Yikes! Now I've got the creepies, but thankfully it is 2pm in the afternoon here so it's not that bad. LOL. That poor guy...I hope he got well eventually! Bridgewater Triangle definitely sounds like a very scary place, but you've just made me want to visit it for myself! I should really visit the States one day...

Awww it's sweet that you are in a nice, long relationship! He is such a luckyyyy guy~ I haven't had a boyfriend for...let's see...a year and a half? It's not as if I really, really want a guy around in my life, but sometimes it gets a little lonely. When you want someone to talk to at night, or perhaps, check a new movie out...and you realize you have only your friends, and some of them have their own boyfriends, so they can't always be there. Those are the times, I guess. But other than that, I'm pretty happy being single! And dearie, nahhh I am quite sure it's not because no one's good enough for me. it's more like, no one likes me! LOL. The only person who might like me a little (the Japanese guy I used to date) is coming to Singapore to visit me when he goes back to Japan from Iowa where he is currently studying. Do you have cute guys there in the States? Perhaps I should outsourcing LOL.

Oooooh Hakuhodo!! I know that one. But I haven't tried their brushes so I can't comment, though I'll definitely try them when I get the chance to. MAC brushes are great; I adore them. Shiseido has amazing skincare items!

It's such a shame but we don't have Urban Decay here! Luckily, we have Benefit, and I love their concealers. It REALLY works. I haven't tried YSL lipsticks before, so maybe you can recommend me a couple of them? I can go check them out the next time I go shopping I have no idea if you like it or not, but I actually dislike Anna Sui's cosmetics very much. It's terrible. I've never come across loose powder that is so gritty with such large bits of glitter in them.*grimaces*

Ooooh I know Amy Lee! I've loved her ever since 'My Immortal' and it's a gorgeous song to listen to whenever I feel like writing tragic scenes. *checks iTunes play count* Hmmm...84. LOL.

When I saw board hair, the thing that came to my mind IMMEDIATELY was SUPER HARD STYLING SPRAY. I can't think of any other way it could stay up!

Isn't it nice to be the youngest and ONLY girl?? I bet everyone adores you!! And oooooh YAY fight!! *stands rooted for a while before assuming some crappy martial arts pose* Jackie Chan would probably laugh his head off if he sees me now.

Random trivial: MissTeak used to learn Chinese martial arts in elementary school!!! but obviously, I gave up after two months.
