Kill him by Itoe

Chapter 1

Well, hello. I know, I should first finish the other stories... but this one is in my head since a few hours and it annoys the hell out of me...

I am not sure, if I want to make this one a very dark story, a dark story, or a fluff... forgiving and all... Let's surprise us (me incl.)

Please, note: I am still not perfect in english and I think, I never will be. But I hope, I get better with each chapter I write. And I also hope, that you will enjoy this story. :-)

Disclaimer: I own nothing, sadly…

He hated him. With every pore of his being, with every breath he took. He hated even the fact, that he at least felt hatred for his worthless younger half-sibling. And he did his very best to contain his daily growing hatred and frustrations.

It all started 52 years ago, when he had been pinned to a tree like an apple by an archer. The shame he felt when he heard this rumour was immeasurable. All the demons started to tease and taunt him.

“Look, your half breed brother fell for a human whore. And you know what, she pinned him to a tree like she was hunting him!”

He would never forget and forgive Inuyasha for what he had done to him with his stupidity.

Through his great and terrible father, he inherited his title as the Inu no Taisho. And when it came out, that his father died protecting his human whore and bastard son, he had been the clown within the demon circles. Of course, no one dared to tell him that, twice. The first one died slowly and painfully by his own claws, and that fool had been his uncle. He did not care. He did not care, that his very own pack feared him when he was near, nor did he care, that they laughed behind his back, when they thought he could not hear them.

He had the best hearing in all his lands. But that was something he would not say aloud. That was a secret which saved him very often during his difficult life after the death of his father. Assassination attempts, warring with other lands, betrayals, everything. They all thought him to be stupid, like his father, or just a young pup with no experience. But they all learned their lesson. Never cross Sesshomaru!

He survived it all and killed the unloyal ones himself in public. Now, no one dared to lift a finger against him. At least not the ones, who had half a brain.

Inuyashas stupidity, with the greater stupidity of his worthless mother made his life hell on earth. When he had found them first, he wanted to kill them. He even went so far, as to go to them. Izayoi was her name. She held his 5 years old half-brother in her arms and pulled him closer to her breasts, as she tried to protect her sleeping pup from him. Her normally soft eyes were dark with fear and worry for her own son. He would admit it was admirable of her, that she wanted to die while protecting her pup. And that was something that not every mother would have done.

“Please, young Lord Sesshomaru! Allow him to live and take my life instead.”, she pleaded, her eyes never trying to stop the tears that were flowing down like small rivers on her soft looking cheek.

“You are in no position to demand anything, human.”, he said stoically, as he slowly raised his poisonous claws, which glowed sickly green.

“I know, my lord. But please, have mercy for a defenceless young child. Allow him the chance to live!”, she still pleaded.

Was she stupid? Was she so ignorant, that she was actually throwing her sons life away with her request? Did she not know, what would happen to him, when she was dead? And her eyes told him no. She was an innocent, just like the pup in her arms. They knew nothing of the evil world outside their castle walls. But why should he care? She wanted to negotiate with him, and he allowed her to speak her mind.

He had been staring a while in her eyes to find any deception from her part. He saw only the one thing his nose confirmed. The pure and open honesty. He never scented it before on anyone or anything. And he did admit that it was a nice scent. Even from a human being.

“You wish to die instead of your son?”, he asked.

Actually, he wanted to kill them both, but he learned a new scent and he would allow her this one wish.

“Yes, please.”, she said and bowed her head while pulling her son closer to her in a last, loving embrace.

It was a touching moment if he had cared. But he did not. And never would.

“Please, not with him near me. He already lost his father, without actually meeting him.”

He silently fumed at her audacity but allowed it nonetheless.

“Come by sundown to the outskirts near the river. I shall end your life there.”, he promised and then disappeared.

As promised, she came. Alone. The tears on her face never stopped. Her eyes were red and tired. She almost looked like an old woman, who had aged 20 years in one day.

When she saw him, she smiled. And he smelt again the pure honesty behind it. Did his father love the honesty in her? The truth behind every one of her words? Touches? Smiles?

She came closer to him, not showing any fear within her. She even seemed to be happy. When she greeted him with a bow, she sat down in front of him in seiza and closed her eyes.

“I thank and forgive you, my Lord. Please, take care.”

Again, a soft, melancholic smile graced her lips, when he beheaded her in that very moment with his claws. He never knew for sure, if he actually heard her last words or if he imagined them. ‘I’m coming, my love.’

Her head fell to the ground with a soft thud, while her severed neck sputtered the blood and fell with the rest of her body forward onto the ground. Her eyes were still closed and her smile was still there. Was she that happy?

That smile on her face made him want to claw her flawless skin. He wanted to torture her and her bastard son. He wanted them to have pain. But it was beneath him to keep torturing a woman. But Inuyasha was a whole other story. He would break him. And then kill him slowly. His mother welcomed an efficient and perfect death without pain.

But her son had to die for the two of them. Bearing the torture for two and live long enough to pay the debt he was in.

And the pain started, when he heard about the death of his mother. He had been kicked out of the palace right after the burial of her on a deserted hill near the lake of her fallen castle.

He watched from afar, when all kinds of demons found him, tortured him, enslaved him. It was sick of him, yes. But he couldn’t help it. At that time, he made sure, that the pup survived. He even protected him. He made sure, that the demons that were out to kill him, never got near him. Only the ones who wanted him to be hurt. That way, he ensured the pups survival and strengthening of his skills without actually helping him.

And today, he regretted his decision back then. He had indirectly promised Izayoi, that the pup would survive long enough to be able to fight for his own life. Had he known, that Inuyasha was to receive the Tetsusaiga, that Izayoi actually had known about it, he would have NEVER granted that whore her wish. He should have killed his worthless half-brother back then, when everything still was fine with him.

And now, he joined forces with the half-breed to kill the same enemy.

He had never dared to think about this, but he actually became possessive of him, as long as he was the only one who injured the hanyou. He was his. His plaything, his victim, his punching bag.

And he even started to respect him minimally, when he learned Windscar, without actually knowing, what it was. When he took fists and punchings in like a man. Even the ones from himself.

But all respect was immediately gone, when he joined his forced with him. He wanted to kill him again, with the same eagerness he felt 252 years ago but never accomplished it due to his promise to the whore mother of Inuyashas. And Sesshomaru wanted Inuyasha to be in as much pain as possible. Now, he wanted him to torture for three persons.

His gaze swept through the clearing as his eyes landed on the young miko. If he thought, that the purity he smelt from Izayoi was… nice… then the Miko Kagomes was heaven. Comparing Izayoi with the miko, the princess smelt like the trash she was.

The twitching of his small digit told him one thing:

He, again, wanted to kill his brother for being so much like his mother. For being so unloyal towards the ones, who were so loyal to him.

Izayoi, his mother, died protecting him. And Inuyasha still wanted to become a full demon and with that denying his very own human blood. The miko Kagome never mistrusted him in anything he did. And the hanyou was seeing the dead bitch without feeling guilty or any form of shame.

Sesshomaru could plainly see, how much that whelp loved the living one though, but he never got to be a real man and claim her. He was, after all, still a teen-pup.

And he hated Inuyasha now more than ever. He saw the miko crying silently, thinking no one saw or cared enough.

But he, Sesshomaru, cared. He counted every tear she shed for that worthless pest and he would make sure, that he paid for every droplet he caused. For every displeasure she felt because of him, for being mistreated as she was, for being reduced from an intelligent girl from the future into a defenceless miko with no form of actually protecting herself, simply for everything.

That, he promised. He would find the ultimate, slow and painful death, shaped into perfection by him personally. And Inuyasha would be his first victim.
