Yasha Doesn't Know! by Meiki

The truth hurts... doesn't it?

A.N.: Hello. This is Meiki (formally Galadrihm_star) and I re-present to you my first one shot. I posted this ages ago on A Single Spark, but I've decided to move it over. I hope you like it. Be warned, Sess is a little OOC but it's not THAT bad, I promise.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Inuyasha or "Scotty doesn't know." by Lustra.

Yasha Doesn't Know!

Bodies swayed and roamed the crowded dance-floor of the club as the audience readied for the band to start. The air was already thick with smoke, the scent of booze and sweat as the musicians made their way across the stage to set up. The heavy purple curtain hadn't been drawn yet, so it was assured that they could get to work without interruption.

Sesshomaru openly growled in annoyance from his place behind the curtain, as his eyes trained on his brother as he glided through the crowd. The useless wretch, Kikyo, was at his side as they approached the bar. A sneer crossed the demon's lips as Inuyasha once again flaunted his adultery in public view. The bastard didn't care if anyone caught him with Kikyo. Deep down, he truly believed that Kagome would forgive him no matter what.

The whole mess had reached its peak two weeks ago when Kagome had found Inuyasha and Kikyo together in his bed. They had been too busy fucking to even acknowledge her presence. She had come to him in tears and he had gladly taken her in. The plots of revenge had begun almost immediately.

However, somewhere along the line Kagome and Sesshomaru had ceased to see one another as partners in crime. Now a more personal interest began to grow between the two. Neither one had admitted it, but there was undoubtedly an attraction between the pair. When Sesshomaru had come up with the final plan to destroy the mutinous pair, their friends were more than willing to play along. Inuyasha had seen the growing friendship between his half-brother and girlfriend with silent rage and jealousy. The only problem that had really made things chaotic was when he had thrown a surprise birthday party for Kagome a week earlier and they had slept together. She believed him to not care for her past friendship and had left his loft in tears. Since then it was agreed to carry on as planned but Kagome had not spoken to him since. Ignoring the tightening of his chest, Sesshomaru smirked in cold delight at the hanyou's discomfort. Tonight was going to be so very sweet. He would make things right. He stiffened as he was jarred from his thoughts as Sango approached his side and followed his gaze.

"Don't worry, Sesshomaru." She chuckled darkly. "He won't know what hit 'em after tonight." Her efforts were rewarded with a curt nod from the Inu Youkai.

"You're sure that she'll be here, right?" Sesshomaru asked coldly, his eyes remained on the intimate couple.

"Relax, Sesshomaru, we've got it covered." Miroku looked up from his current tangle of wires to make eye contact with the man. "The question is...is she ready?" Sango let her eyes move between the men in interest.

A sudden crash made the three turn to face a blushing, red-headed boy scramble to retrieve the rogue cymbal. His forest-green skater shorts swished lightly and his cartoon sneakers squeaked against the stage surface. Tugging his Transplants T-shirt back into place, the demon-child adjusted the drumsticks in his back pocket before returning to work. Shippo growled lowly as he continued to piece the drums together. Low curse words melted into the growls as he quickly finished the task and stood to assist Kouga with unloading more instruments.

Ayame toyed with the lighting, searching for the 'perfect' combination. Her orange pigtails bobbed slightly and her worn, knee-length jean skirt scraped and scratched as she shifted across the floor in her red Vans sneakers. The 'Flying Hamster of Doom' T-shirt she wore gleamed slightly under the black light that currently hummed above the group. She smiled brightly at her significant other as he passed, admiring his lithe form in the faded blue jeans and a band shirt.

Sesshomaru let the curtain drop back into place and approached the microphone, busying himself by adjusting the height and checking the wiring. The charcoal grey tank and black vest he donned gave off a perfect view of his toned shoulders, arms, and neck. The dark, beaten jeans hung low on his hips, secured by a black, leather belt with a crossbones buckle. The single, silver hoop ring in his lip glinted against the lights softly, setting off the gold in his eyes. His obsidian-clawed hands reached up and tied the long silver locks of his mane into a low ponytail at the base of his neck.

Miroku and Sango smiled knowingly at each other as their lead singer began to uncharacteristically fidget. It was so obvious how much Sesshomaru and Kagome cared for each other; if only they weren't so damn stubborn. It was almost to the point they were considering locking the pair in a closet until they admitted it!

Sango finished hooking up her amp and hot-pink bass and stood to smooth out her pin-stripe skirt and black baby-doll T-shirt. Her perverted boyfriend stood as well and picked up his deep-purple Fender Strat guitar to test and adjust the strap. His charcoal, Foamy the Squirrel thermal was stretched comfortably across his chest; his black, baggy cargo pants hanging low but subdued by a studded belt.

"Let's give the half-breed something special to remember this night." Kouga growled out menacingly. The group chuckled darkly as Ayame left the group to pass the curtain and introduce them. She saw Kagome enter through the front door and nodded towards the bar. The girl smirked knowingly and headed to where Ayame had pointed. The crowd began to quiet as Ayame approached the mike.

"How's everyone feelin' tonight?!" The wolf demoness bellowed above the crowd. Whistles and cheers greeted her warmly as she smiled. "Tonight's a very special night here at The Wolves' Den. We have a bit of a blast from the past here to perform for us, but as you might not know these guys haven't performed in quite a while. Somehow we've convinced them to come out here and give it one more shot."

Ayame smirked as Inuyasha and Kikyo looked up from their obnoxious group and drinks to toss glances of mild interest in her direction. Inuyasha seemed somewhat uneasy with her presence. Her grandfather owned the club so it wasn't that weird, but then again...it could have been the wicked smirk on the girl's face to give it away.

"Anyone familiar with Royalty for Hire?"

The crowd roared in response and Ayame could hold back her chuckle as Inuyasha spit out the beer he was nursing and Kikyo turned to dab him with a napkin while inquiring as to what his problem was. The rest of their followers murmured in confusion as well while other clapped in excitement.

"Alright! So without further ado I present one of the most badass bands on this side of the planet... Royalty for Hire!" Ayame bellowed as the crowd screamed with new life. She promptly disappeared behind the black curtain, a pleased smile on her face. She winked at the others before turning to the lighting and curtain control to begin the show.

Meanwhile out at the bar, Kagome stepped up beside Inuyasha while plastering a fake gasp of surprise over her fair features. Kikyo audibly 'eeped', while Inuyasha gulped before chuckling nervously.

"Hey, baby!" The hanyou choked out as Kagome leaned against the bar. "What are you doing here?"

"Hi! Sesshomaru told me about his show tonight so I decided to come out and see him!" Her cold, chocolate eyes locked on his. "What are you doing here? I thought you had to work." Inside she was seething, but Kagome victoriously kept such emotions from showing. "Hello, Kikyo..."

"Ummm....hey Kagome!" Kikyo mumbled, seeming trying to will the earth to swallow her up. "I saw Yasha here by himself and I just thought to say hi."

"Yeah! They let me off early and so I came by to get a beer before headin' home." Inuyasha offered hurriedly as he shifted from one foot to the next. The fact that his brother was here had already made him a little edgier than usual. Now with Ayame's unnerving knowing glances and Kagome's sudden appearance, the night was steadily getting worse.

"Well that's nice..." Kagome said though clenched teeth, her voice sickeningly sweet. She almost sighed in relief as the curtains of the stage began to roll back. Unbuttoning her ankle-length coat, Kagome handed the garment to friend of hers who tended the bar. She almost laughed at the incredulous look on her 'boyfriend's' face upon seeing her full appearance. 'Thank you, Sango!

The sapphire, silk halter top tied neatly behind her neck and low on her back. The material clinging perfectly to her in every way possible, her smooth, alabaster back and shoulders left exposed. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail, a few loose locks and her bangs curling to frame her face and neck. A silver, sakura blossom pendant dangled from a silver-ribbon choker around her throat; a gift from Sesshomaru only a few days earlier. The dark, leather pants rose low on her hips and flared at the ends to accent her long, shapely legs. Spiked heeled sandals added a few inches to her height and showed off the black nail polish she had decorated her toes with. All and all...Kagome seemed to be a goddess of the netherworld come to plane of the living.

Inuyasha felt his throat go dry as Kikyo raged beside him. Where the HELL had this Kagome come from? This wasn't the same girl he had been dating for the past two years and it sure as hell wasn't the girl he had been cheating on for the past six months! Ignoring Kikyo, Inuyasha slid in closer to his 'girlfriend' as his half-brother took the stage. Sesshomaru noticed the action and quickly tapped the mike to command attention.

Locking her gaze on the stage, Kagome fought the heavy flutter in her chest. She would play her part and get her revenge, but as she watched her best friend command the crowd's attention another yearning grew in her. That night with Sesshomaru may have been unintentional, but she never regretted it. If only he could see her as something more as a childhood friend! Since that night it had been too hard to be around him, but all their work wouldn't be thrown away. The petite miko nibbled her bottom lip as she fought back the sadness that threatened to overwhelm her. This was it!

"Alright you freaks! How about we start off this with something new?" Sesshomaru's husky tone rose above the rumble of the crowd. People began to cheer as Kagome offered a small smile up to him; the smile grew genuine at the warm light in his eyes as he stared back. Inuyasha scowled at the affectionate exchange between Kagome and Sesshomaru. "I would like to dedicate this song to the freakiest, most incredible sex kitten I know....Kagome."

Sesshomaru smirked broadly as Kagome jumped up from Inuyasha's side to race to the stage, the crowd parted with whistles as Inuyasha's jaw dropped. He then did something even he hadn't planned on as he pulled her unto the stage and into his arms. Bringing her closer, he leaned down to whisper urgently into the delicate shell of her ear.

"It was never an act, Kagome." His voice rumbled through her frame as she shivered from his words. "Yes, I wanted him to suffer..." The words struggled to fall into place; he never was very good at this. "...but I wanted you more. This Sesshomaru has always wanted you."

Kagome's mouth fell open in surprise, her eyes glassy but delighted. 'I want him too; more than anything else.' Sesshomaru bit back a groan as her eyes darkened and the delight shifted into something far more carnal. Remembering their surroundings and their plan, he crushed his lips down over Kagome's in a demanding kiss as Shippo counted off the beat with his sticks. The hanyou's cry of rage was drowned out by the applauding audience and the roar of Miroku and Kouga's guitars. Sesshomaru regretfully ended the kiss as the stage lights flared to life; holding Kagome to him with one arm, he clutched the top of the mike stand with the other.

HHHEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Kagome rocked her hips against him with her back to his chest as she danced to the beat; the crowd gaining momentum and pulse as they song was thrown into full drive. The huskiness of Sesshomaru's deep voice sent shivers of pure delight down her spine, and a deep blush rose in her cheeks when her demon suddenly began to grind against her in return.

Yasha doesn't know,

That Kagome and me,

Do it by the well every Sunday.

She tells him she's in church,

But she doesn't go,

Still she's on her knees, and...

Yasha doens't know, oh.

Yasha doesn't know-oh.

So don't tell Yasha!

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know.

SO DON'T TELL YASHA!

"What the fuck?!" InuYasha's eyes bulged and he ground his teeth as Kikyo screeched indignantly. Suddenly it felt like all the eyes in a five-foot radius turned to burn into them. How had this gone so horribly wrong? And how long had Kagome been running to Sesshomaru behind his back? She should be the one apologizing! He loved her, but only screwed Kikyo to relieve a little stress! What was the big deal?!

The words of the song continued to echo in InuYasha's mind as Kagome's teasing hips tortured him. The woman beside him glared daggers into Kagome's blissful figure when Inuyasha continued to ignore her. A scratching noise caught her attention and her eyes fell on Inuyasha's claws dragging across the bar's smooth surface. His eyes flickered between their usual gold and the deep red that fought to overtake them. If he outright attacked Sesshomaru now, the odds would be against him and jail didn't sound very attractive.

Kagome says she's out shopping,

But she's under me and I'm not stopping.

Cuz Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know.

So don't tell Yasha.

Yasha doesn't knoooooow....

DON'T TELL YASHA!

The rage only grew as Sesshomaru slowly slid a clawed hand down to rest on the soft, bare skin below Kagome's navel as she continued to dance against him, his hot breath tickling her ear and neck. A fire slowly began to grow within her as their eyes met briefly. The young woman turned her darkened eyes to Inuyasha and met his gaze with a chilling smirk that rivaled the wicked smile of the demon behind her.

I can't believe he's so trusting,

While I'm right behind you thrusting.

Kagome's got him on the phone,

and she's trying not to moan.

It's a three way call,

and he knows nothing.

NOTHING!!!

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know,

Don't tell Yasha.

Cuz Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't knoooooow....

SO DON'T TELL YASHA!

We'll put on a show, everyone will go.

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't knoooooow....

The cloudiness of the dark building would lighten and thicken with each different flicker of the stage lighting. Sesshomaru dragged the microphone closer to him while he sang against the flesh of Kagome's neck.

The, parking lot, why not?

It's so cool when you're on top.

His front lawn, in the snow.

Life is so hard, cause...

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know.

Miroku and Kouga both smirked and jumped forward as the drum and bass ceased. An eerie echo-like quality suddenly became evident in Sesshomaru's haunting voice as he locked eyes with his half-brother. Victory danced within the gold of his eyes as the words tumbled from his lips. Vengeance was Kagome's and Sesshomaru had found the woman that he would gladly share eternity with.

I did her on his birthday.

The squabbling group surrounding the treacherous duo had fallen silent and pale. Each one looking at the others to determine whether it was a good idea to laugh, sing, or dance. Kikyo held a hand over her mouth in horror as the song progressed.

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know,

Yasha doesn't know,

Don't tell Yasha.

Yasha doesn't knoooooow....

Yasha will know,

Yasha has to know,

Yasha's gotta know,

Gonna tell Yasha,

Gonna tell him myself.

The crowd was already chanting along with the band and Kagome quickly spun around in Sesshomaru's grasp to face him. Focusing on singing, Sesshomaru continued to carry the tune as he raised a perfect eyebrow in a questioning manner. The blinding smile on her pillow lips reflected in his own warm gaze as he pulled her closer. The world around them suddenly began to slow and dull in volume but still he sang.

Yasha has to know,

Yasha has to know,

Yasha has to,

Yasha has to,

Yasha has to go!

Inuyasha roared as the crowd continued to chant and cheer. With a final cry of defeat and the breaking of his beer bottle, the hanyou shoved laughing onlookers out of his way as he exited the club. The singing only continued to haunt him as the voices were carried to him on the cool, night breeze. Kikyo quickly grabbed her coat and fled the bar, her face resembling a tomato in her humiliation. She made attempts to calm the man but failed miserably. He turned once more to enter the club, determined to speak his mind.

Yasha doesn't know,

Don't tell Yasha

Yasha doesn't know,

Don't tell Yasha

Yasha doesn't know...

YASHA'S GOTTA GO!!!!

The angered hanyou froze in his steps as his gaze fell on Sesshomaru and Kagome's embraced figures; their lips locked in a passionate kiss. Their bodies almosted seemed to melt into one as Sesshomaru slanted his lips to deepen the contact; the eager lips against his opened without pause. A sudden chill rolled throughout InuYasha's body as their embrace continued and he fought back the bile in his throat.

Ignoring the jeers and laughter from the people around him, Inuyasha marched on towards the stage. He sneered as the couple broke apart to meet his gaze. Before he could spew a single insult, Kagome was in front of him. Sesshomaru silently thanked Ayame as the curtain closed to leave them some level of privacy.

"Just walk away, Inu. Take your bitch and leave." The frosty edging in her words felt like ice in his blood.

"I know I made mistakes Kagome, but this isn't how you want us to end!" Inuyasha said pleadingly, his eyes darkened in his rage. He growled loudly as Sesshomaru stepped in front of Kagome, blocking her from his view. "Kikyo was just something I needed to work out of my system! I mean," His arms flailed in an attempt to drag the right words from his muddled thoughts. "I still love you and I know you still love me!" InuYasha let the growl slip from his lips at his older brother's sneer as the youkai stepped forward. "Stay out of this, Sesshomaru. You're lucky I don't rip your arms off for fuckin' around with MY woman! Yeah! You heard me! She's MINE!"

"Your woman?" Sesshomaru's voice was at a deadly low, as red began to bleed into his vision. Inuyasha noticed the change and felt himself shrink away slightly. "You were never good enough for Kagome! She loved you despite your cruel words, crass attitude, and constant infidelity, and you threw it away!" His voice began to climb, but it leveled out as Kagome's arms encircled his waist. "I won't make the same mistake."

Inuyasha struggled to find some kind sign in Kagome's eyes that it wasn't true; that she still loved him and any second she would leave Sesshomaru's arms for his own. The woman before him was still, her silence speaking volumes. Sending one more death glare to Sesshomaru and not bothering to meet Kagome's cold gaze, the hanyou stiffly turned and slipped out of the building.

Kagome looked up at the man at her side and smiled again. He was truly what she had been looking for, only she hadn't seen it in time. The intense amber eyes that bore into her sent a darker stain of blush across her cheeks. She sighed happily as Sesshomaru leaned down to claim her lips once again; this time lifting her fully against him as he gave her what could only be described as a preview of what would come later that evening. Pressing herself against him wantonly, Kagome could only make one single coherent thought as his velvet tongue caressed her own.

Revenge may be sweet....but I would rather taste these lips any day.'

A.N. : You like? I did have a prequel in the works for this but I'm doing some rewriting on it so you may have to wait for that one. Cheers, kids.
