“So, how’s it going with the Daiyoukai?” asked Sango evenly in the middle of their shopping. Sango had this tiny obsession with getting pretty underwear to surprise her boyfriend. It was good training; Kagome wouldn’t fuzz much about buying her own things when the time, and need, came.
“He treats me nicely,” replied Kagome with a soft smile while her blue eyes sought her friend’s.
Their eyes met and Sango gave her a nod. “Good.”
That was all Sango said and Kagome smiled fondly. Sango was trying…she didn’t like her choice of male… but she was trying. For her sake.
