Sesshoumaru looked down at Kagome, she needed to get sleep, he was much certain.
“Kagome, get some sleep now. This one will keep watch and make sure no harm comes to you. It is safe.”
“But Sesshoumaru…” She started to protest.
“No. Close your eyes.” He said in a soft, velvety voice as he drapped his mokomoko over Kagome. It did not take long for the miko to fall asleep, cuddling his tail no less. He looked down at her and chuckled, he could not even begin to feel the contempt for that he felt for others. He found this peculiar but she was unlike others of the time.
