Kagome scoffed, “To be honest, are we really that surprised about it? I mean come on, Sesshoumaru, in terms of mate choice, you are top tier,“ she raised her hand up, giving a visual to her statement.
“The natural world is always trying to weed out the weaker individuals, you know, survival of the fittest,” she continued, going back on her biology lessons, “And you are a prime example of a ‘fit’ specimen, Sesshoumaru. I know I’m going to regret singing your praises like this but… You are devilishly handsome with remarkably perfect features and you are powerful, both in status and in physical strength. You also have strong instincts which I’m willing to bet have made the difference between survival and death. The only thing that stinks is your personality, but to be honest, in the grand scheme of things you could be deaf, dumb, and blind and you’d still have women fawning over you.”
