Boy From Down the Street by The Norrington

Dismissed

Well, this was an interesting thing to come home to.

Her liittle brother lay sprawled on his stomach, in front of the T.V, playing a video game.  Her mother was tinkering around in the kitchen, cooking something that smelled wonderful.  Her grandfather sat at the table, placidly sipping his tea.  None of this was what was...off though.

A pair of golden eyes met her's, faintly curious.   Short, pristine silver hair covered a small forehead, framing the indigo crescent moon that sat there.  Tiny claws idly played with Buyo's kitty claws.  The small boy sniffed at her, and then promptly dismissed her.

Kagome didn't know whether to be confused that her family considered this normal, or offended that a four year old deemed her unimportant.
