" Theres something in the background.."

"Where I don't see anything.."

"Its right there Sango, look closely at the picture, its right there next to the wall!"

"Oh my goodness Kagome I don't...oh gosh your right..what the.."

The two girls sat staring at the photograph for what seemed like ages. There in the far left corner was a small glint of silver. It looked like it had moved so fast, that the camera could only catch a gllimpse. In the picture of Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and InuYasha, smilling so happily, in the very background in the corner, was something.

"Kagome, it seems to show up in every picture that you're in, what could it be? Could it be a bird, I mean it happens sometims and-"

"No Sango, te same bird does not appear in the same picture twice, let alone five of them."

Weirder things have happened since she visited her granfathers shrine. The higurashi shrine, one of the famous fasicinations of modern Japan, has been her families tie to their ancestory. The home of where the story of Demons and Slayers, priestesses and an evil spider are told, it never ceased to amaze Kagome that her family could be so rich with history.  But one thing that di make her feel unnerved was that her history could seem to take on a life of its own.

"Kags-"

"Sango..."

"I mean Kagome, its 11:30, we've got class at 8, and a final at 8:30 we should be sleeping now."

"You're right Sango, hit the sack?"

"Of course bestie"

Sango smilled as both girls retired for the night.

"Oh hey Kagome?"

"Yesh Sango?" she replied sleepily

"Don't let that picture shake you ok?

"...Ok, I won't."

Little did Sango now, that very image had repeatedly crept in her mind all day.

"Now that you all have finished your finals, I would like to take a moment to talk to you all about the upcoming semester-"

She sat by the window of her lecture hall staring at the trees, as everything else seemed to fade around her, becoming a loose haze. The odd dreams had statrted to re-occur from the last time she visited her ancestors shrine. However, this time it seemed to feel more real. She was able to touch, smell, taste, and see things with such clear perception, it unnerved her.

Shaking her head, she focused on the one tree in the middle of the college courtyard surronded by cherry blossom petals. Scanning the courtyard, she spotted someone walking. A man; he looked...different.  Long silver hair, with traditional white garbs, adorned with a red flower pattern on one of his shoulders.

Kagome stared in awe as he walked across the lush green grass. He walked so gracefully, as though his feet barley touched the ground, it almost seemed as though he was floating. As the man was walking, he stopped abruptly,Kagome tensed because right there and then, he was looking...directly in her direction. A chill ran down her spine as she stared into his icy citrine colored eyes. His face, adorned with puple stripes, and a blue moon on his forehead, was devoid of emotions. His porcelain skin shone in the sunlight, like he was glowing. He was handsome, so handsome it was eerie.

' I have found you..'

A voice sounded in her head, almost like a whisper. Her eyes grew wide as ahe began to grow pale.

'I have come for you..'

"No, No..this can't be really, I must be imaging this.."

Kagome beagan to whisper repeatedly. She was in disbelief of what she was seeing, not to mention what she was hearing. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. She didn't want to believe it was happening to her. Maybe it was the lack of sleep she was getting. Yes, thats what it is she thought to her self. I mean after all the odd dreams, followed by the tossing and turning would drive anyone to hallucinate...right?

'I can't believe I'm questioning my own sanity? I mean I know I'm not crazy, but still!!' she fussed with her logical side. Something like this, just didn't happen to someone everyday. It just wasn't normal.

"Kagome...Kagomeee....KAGOME!"

She snapped out of her trance to Sango shaking her and screaming her name.

"Kagome! Class dismissed 10 minutes ago and your stil sitting...woah, whats wrong, you look like you've seen a ghost?"

Sango looked at her friend with worry etched on her face. She had never seen Kagome this worked up before. She began to worry more.
