Lightning bathed the room in an unearthly light. Closely behind thunder rolled through it. In a corner of the room sat a woman with fearful eyes and stared out of the window, where rain hit the glass with enormous vigor.
Suddenly a tall figure rushed through the door and pulled her against his hard frame. A soothing rumble vibrated through his chest, as the male sat down in the corner.
“It´s just a thunderstorm, mate.” SesshÅmaru murmured.
“I know, still...” The miko whispered.
“One would mean you have learned not to be afraid after 500 years...” He nuzzled her neck.
