Summary: What lies underneath the surface. The intensity behind Sesshomaru's eyes. Dark One-Shot

"Passion, it lies in all of us, sleeping... waiting... and though unwanted... unbidden... it will stir... open its jaws and howl. It speaks to us... guides us... passion rules us all, and we obey. What other choice do we have?"-John Wedon

. . .

Just below the surface of his control…

He wished to eat away at her, to fill himself to the brim with her flesh, to live off of her, to ravage her being.

He wished to immerse himself in her, to bathe in the crimson that held her essence, to soak up all the innocence and love that lay ingrained inside her human form.

He wanted to caress her so deeply his claws would become embedded in her bones and kiss her so fiercely his fangs would split and rip and tear away at her pouty lips.

Fantasizing of crushing her fragile form beneath his, thrusting and rupturing her, watching her body bend and bow as her bones cracked and shattered from his power drove him mad.

He wished to have his blood and skin deposited under her blunt nails from clawing and digging into him. And he wished for her to scream his name until his sensitive ears rang and her throat went raw and bled.

If he could he'd shred her bit by bit just so he could know for certain that he'd passionately stroked every inch, every piece that came together to make her whole.

Her blood and his poison would mix so well while her screams and his howls fashioned their own sonata. Her tears would taste so sweet.

He'd cut out her heart and carry it with him… in time.

But for now, he'd just glare at her… with intensity.

Author's Notes: I figured Sesshomaru's base desires might be a little more dark than we'd like to believe and since we really only get to see him either completely composed or extremely intense I thought this idea of how "intensely" he'd love, if not for his composure, could be interesting.
