Kagome hummed as she patted at her sand castle. She and Inuyasha’s family were at the beach for the next week. Kagome sat back as she gazed her work. She gasped as sand was suddenly covering her. She opened her eyes and growled. Her sand castle was crushed and under a silver haired demon. Said demon got up and walked off without even a ‘sorry’. She scoffed; she was not letting him off that easy! She grabbed some sand and charged it with her miko powers before standing and walking towards two boys playing catch with a football.
“Oh Sesshomaru!” she called out sweetly. He turned and glared at her.
“What woman?” he asked. She smirked and threw her miko charged sand ball at him. It hit him in the chest, it didn’t hurt but it stung him a little. Sesshomaru stared down at the spot where the sand ball hit him and growled. The woman actually had the nerve to throw sand at him. He looked back up to see Kagome running away giggling before turning to yell;
“That’s what you get for not saying sorry for knocking over my sand castle!” she turned to run to the manor up the beach but hit something hard instead. She held her nose and groaned.
“Damn Sesshomaru!” she said. Her nose was already starting to throb from the pain.
“You made out of steel or something?” she asked. Sesshomaru pulled her to him and she let out a startled ‘eep’.
“It would be wise to not to threw sand at this Sesshomaru again” he all but growled. Kagome titled her head, this was the closest they’ve ever been, and even up close he was breathtaking. Sesshomaru growled at her lack of response and shook her. She nodded and he dropped her.
