Reality Bites
A thin line of blood trickled from her neck. “Explain yourself.”
“Weren’t you listening?! I don’t know anymore. I can’t tell!” She was frustrated and angry. Why was she here? That other place had seemed so real. Was she going insane? Was it another trick?
Or was this the truth? Had it all been a dream? And how could she differentiate between two realities?
Sesshoumaru considered her strange outburst at his arrival. The strange way she’d carried herself since. Her fascination with him, he knew her eyes followed wherever he moved.
Lacking any emotion, he assured her, “I am real.”
