Ok srsly I dunno how I missed this lil gem but i'm glad i found it. It was a great story and I loved how you worked the darkness and the light into their souls. It would make a lot of sense as to why Naraku and Sesshomaru would seek out Kagome for a mate and I like the way you wrote them. Awesome job lady!!

I absolutely love the way you've portrayed Naraku's character in this fanfic; it's so true to his personality in the canon story that I was in awe and during his conversations with Kagome in Ch. 1 I was hearing Paul Dobson's Naraku voice saying the lines in my head, that's how well you've developed his character here in my opinion. But, why kill him off so soon? I was rather looking forward to reading through such a well-written romance story between Kagome and Naraku, and not simply another Sesshomaru/Kagome one that frankly I've become rather bored of reading. Given their conversations in Ch. 1, I feel like there was quite a bit of potential for the aforementioned relationship to strengthen due to the hints you dropped about Kagome beginning to understand Naraku's mannerisms and how Naraku was trying to be nice to her in the only way he knew how. Albeit as you described, given how evil Naraku is it would have taken a while for Kagome to begin to trust Naraku, but I feel like, over time, if Kagome would've been in Naraku's prescence and continued interacting with him, Naraku's soul would've started to sprout feelings of compassion and softness similar to how saving Rin changed Sesshomaru. I just think that you could've given the relationship between Naraku and Kagome more of an opportunity to materialize, because in my opinion it would've been very intruiging to read just how much Kagome would've been able to "soften Naraku up" if you get what I'm saying.
