It´s a good story but sometimes it´s really corny and all the happily after is boring and kinda predictable. I still don´t get why every character has to be paired up with someone. Some characters should first grow before they have a relationship like Inuyasha or even Sango, kami that girl is annoying.

The children act too much as grown ups. As sweet and sometimes wise children can be they are still children and some things can´t be understood by them yet and I felt you had exaggerated with their knowledge. I work with children and know that they are sensitive when it comes to emotions but you had the children act as adults and have knowledge that they shouldn´t have. Children learn through models and the first models children have in their lives are their parents for the first decade so your portrayal of the orphans are not really believable. At least Shippo is technically older and could know some things that human children don´t. Rin is a sweet girl but still a simple girl with a normal background for that time, that means she had a peasant family and no education. If she learned something from her family it would be what she had to do to survive with their roles in life.

Don´t take this as a flame because it wasn´t meant to be one. It´s just my opinion based on experience.

Poor, poor Miroku... He should have admitted he has a cursed mind instead of a cursed hand.  For all his suaveness, he has yet to figure out a woman doesn't want to be told that your first thought when it came to flowers was "hey, let's be fruitful" instead of "hey, we're getting married!"

I've been lurking on this story, and really enjoying it.  :)  You're doing a great job!
