Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 24) - Thu 08 Jul 2010

Inuyasha really is a baka if he thinks you can forgive someone for breaking their promise and letting you die that easily. Hell, I wouldn't forgive him at all! *thwaps with newspaper* I think he needs to stop being such a stubborn jerk over it - he made his bed, and now he has to lie in it. Sesshoumaru was a real sweetie in this one, though. The bit where he pulled out the flowers and announced that he had already made that vow was a real "awwwwww!" moment. They might not know what he means, but I dooo~!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 23) - Thu 08 Jul 2010

Awwwww! Miroku was adorable in this chapter, and I liked how you made him speak in a formal yet friendly way - most writers go to one extreme or the other, but I think you got him down just right!

I also thought Sesshoumaru was very IC this chapter - I love how he treats Kagome. He trusts her, yet knows her well enough to know that she would do it again for her friends, and comes up with a resolution. No what-ifs, just gets to the point and decides, then sticks to it.

I really enjoyed this chapter, and it's good that Miroku is finally getting his priorities straght! And once again, Rin is the voice of reason. Poor Rin, having to sort out the insane adults.

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 22) - Wed 30 Jun 2010

Once again, Kagome triumphs over the evils of the all-forgiving Purity-Sue cliche! Go, Kagome, go! *cheers on*

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 21) - Wed 30 Jun 2010

Inuyasha gets what was coming to him at last! Kagome was really good in this chapter - not going bunny-boiler, but she let him know exactly how she felt. Go Kagome! Once again, it is nice to read a Kagome who acts like a real person, and doesn't let herself become a doormat. And Sesshoumaru is starting to understand why his father loved Izayoi, but he still thinks Kagome is better then the woman his father died for! Awwww!

Love it!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 20) - Mon 28 Jun 2010

Slowly, but surely,he's beginning to get it. Now that Kagome knows the truth, the Sess/Kag is free to begin! That he complimented her only highlights the differences between him and Inuyasha, as well as their behaviour during Kagome's death, and makes a good contrast!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 19) - Mon 28 Jun 2010

Sesshoumaru was such a sweetie! Kagome seems more like her canon self in this chapter, but a bit more grown up, and it is nice to know that her trust won't be misplaced this time around! And Rin as the only one who knows what's going on is kinda funny, in a cosmic way.

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 18) - Mon 28 Jun 2010

Sesshoumaru's starting to get it now! And it's nice to see a Kagome who acts like a real person, instead of forgiving Inuyasha's every mistake even though he clearly doesn't deserve it. This chapter read really well, and I found I could understand how the characters felt - you got their emotions across well!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 17) - Tue 15 Jun 2010

Awwww! He thought her worth saving! *squees* ^^

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 16) - Tue 15 Jun 2010

And Kikyou gets what was coming to her... Inuyasha was a total jerk in this, but it is almost exactly how he acted in the series, so very IC. Well done!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 15) - Tue 15 Jun 2010

Another good point, in my opinion. Even after Inuyasha gets the Tessaiga, Sesshoumaru still wipes the floor with him unarmed! Not to mention, as well as being deadlier, the Bakusaiga looks much nicer! Without the Tenseiga, Sesshoumaru wouldn't have been able to revive Rin, which would totally suck, so all in all, I think he got the better deal!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 14) - Tue 15 Jun 2010

That was one thing that always got me, was that Kikyou herself always had to be someone else's reincarnation, but no-one ever mantions it. Nice to see Sesshoumaru put her in her place! Shame on you, Kikyou!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 13) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

Oh, but they did deserve it! They were going to make a selfish wish on the Shikon no Tama, and they only got in that mess in the first place because they didn't trust each other enough! And besides, Who's the heroine of the series? Yeah, that's what I thought. Sesshoumaru trying and managing to make her feel better was sweet!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 12) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

Someone's getting a taste of his own medicine, and it's a bitter draught! And how can you be jealous of Kagome after what you do with Kikyou! *bashes with rolled-up newspaper* ^o^ Ironic that Rin notices, but Rin notices a lot of things, and I love that she highlights Inuyasha's failings, because while they are numerous, Kagome always forgave and forgot before, if she didn't ignore it outright, but with Rin pointing them out, it makes her realize how numerous they are. And Sesshoumaru looking intently at Kagome is a bad sign for you, Inuyasha, but it makes the SessKag fans very happy indeed!

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 11) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

Ooooh, he's starting to get it! While it won't make him want to have 100 kids with him just yet, he's realizing that she does have potential as a wife and mother! Once again, Inuyasha, you jerk! *hits with rolled-up newspaper* Stop treating her like a posession, because in the 21st century, we have feminism, and laws against sex discrimination! Besides, she could easily join up with Kouga or Sesshoumaru to be her muscle while she finds the jewel, and Sango, Miroku, Shippo and Kilala would probably follow her, but how many people out there can sense the shikon no kakera? While Kouga is being a bit of an idiot, I think his heart really is in the right place, and he appreciates Kagome for who she is as well as what she does.

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 10) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

You know, we need to set up a fanclub for Rin. She should have a fanclub dedicated to her and how plain adorable she is. And Inuyasha really is an insensitive jerk, isn't he? *thwaps with rolled-up newspaper* Be nicer to Kagome! But I'm glad they managed to work things out, and that Sesshoumaru has started calling Kagome by name. The two chibis trying to comfort Kagome was so sweet! But, how did Rin know the flowers were there? 0.o

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 9) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

Aww, I think his ego got bruised a little in this chapter! "Rin thinks it would be very boring to love only yourself, really." had to be one of my favorite lines - as well as containing insight, she left the mighty Sesshoumaru completely flabbergasted! Oh, but the mental image of Sesshoumaru with an eyebrow twitch! *dies*

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 8) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

Inuyasha, quit running your mouth! If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all! *whacks with rolled-up newspaper* Ah, the Sess/kag is coming along nicely! And once again, Rin is the only person who understands.  Also liked that Kagome almost wished Inuyasha would go see Kikyou - I think she's starting to get over him, or if not, at least realizing that he isn't the most important thing in life, and that he can be selfish. Poor girl! (I think she needs a Rin and a Shippo to cheer her up! Oh, and a Kilala, because she's so cute!)

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 7) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

Hehe! I adore Miroku, but someone really needed to give him a good kick up the rear! Once again, go Rin! Oh, and Inuyasha notices that he has competition! Ooooh, two someones need to have a good think about their behaviour, and hopefully realise the truth before it becomes too late! (Well, Miroku anyways. I prefer SessKag to InuKag, so hopefully he'll stay ignorant until it's too late, and realise exactly how he made Kagome feel when he ran off with Kikyou.)

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 6) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

And Rin knows! Sesshoumaru seems to be getting over his hatred of ningens in general, because while Rin was always an exception, he says that the rest of the gang - minus Inuyasha, of course - aren't too irritating, and that he doesn't mind Kagome. Nice to see that he doesn't ever claim he never hated ningens, as he does in several fics - just that these ningen aren't as bad as he thought. Although, that the only two people he doesn't mind are human says a lot, doesn't it?

Chalkbutterfly (Chapter 5) - Sun 13 Jun 2010

Inuyasha, you baka! *thwacks with rolled-up newspaper* How can you be so cruel to Kagome! And to say Sesshoumaru knows nothing about love when you're chasing Kikyou! Baka, baka, baka! Oh, this is going to come back and bite him in the rear! *attempts to do an evil laugh, but starts coughing and fails in an epic manner*
