Unlikely 1st Day

To all my readers. I do not own Phantom of the Opera or anything to do with Inuyasha. Upon writing this story, I tried to place characters where they should be placed and give full credit of the Opera to the writers of it. This story is based off of Phantom of the Opera, and it is for your own enjoyment. Thank you.

"Kagome! You are going to be late! Get up!" Mrs. Hiragashi stood at the door to the living room and she could hear the thumping and rustling of a person upstairs.

"Why didn't you wake me up?! Ahh! I'm going to be late! Ahh! It's my first day of senior year and the teachers are already going to hate me!" She ran around her room doing her hair. Its long black locks kept getting into her eyes. "Ow!" She ran into the corner of her desk as she was putting on her socks and finally was done. She grabbed her bag and ran downstairs grabbing a piece of toast from the table and placed it in her mouth as she placed her shoes on.

"Oh Kagome..." She held out Kagome's lunch and Kagome snatched it away.

"Bye Mama!" She ran out of the house and ran all the way to school.

She finally made it to the school grounds and to her locker. She grabbed her school shoes and placed them on. People around her were rushing the same way, her friends saying hi as they ran by. She stood up and looked over at the large willow tree. She sighed. 'They have no care in the world just because they are popular.' She ran to class.

"Finally! I made it!" She sat down at her desk right as the bell rang. All the other students were either in their seat already or doing the same as her.

"Nice Kagome!" Yumi leaned forward and patted her shoulder.

"Shut up Yumi!" Kagome threw a paper ball at her good friends head.

"Ok class enough! Welcome back! I am Professor Kaede. This is your last year with here so we as teachers decided to do something fun. Each class will be doing something fun. We can do a show, play, readings, whatever we wish to do." She smiled as half of the class was drowned out by the sad tones while the other half busied themselves with discussing what to do.

"This is stupid." A boy in the corner said to a boy that was next to him.

"I agree man. This is shit!" The other replied that was sitting right next to him.

"Oh come on you two..." Yumi walked up. "Let's do a play. Have any ideas Kagome?"

Kagome looked up and scratched her head. She gasped and stood up. "Let's do Phantom of the Opera!" The class started talking about what a great idea that was.

"Wonderful idea Miss Hiragashi. It seems everyone likes your idea." The teacher clapped her hands and the class sat at attention. "Lets vote on who should play the three main parts. You cannot nominate yourself but others can nominate you." She wrote down the names on the board. "Christine, Raoul, and Phantom. OK! Who should play Christine?"

"Yumi! Kagome! Anya! Aya! Suki!" People started yelling out their names.

"Ok...Ok...Lets do this. You five come to the front." All five stood in front. Only Kagome was blushing. "Do, ra, me, fa, so, la, ti, do...do it. The best gets the part."

Anya stood tall and began, "Du ri mi fai so la ti do...." She was horrible and sat down sad. Aya and Suki followed and it was between Yumi and Kagome. They sounded like angels.

"Now, what to do with you two? I'll decide later. Sit please." They sat down and looked at each other both wanted the other to get it yet wanted the part for themselves. "Now, we will choose Raoul. Correction. I will choose." She looked around the room. "Inuyasha. You will play the part."

"What!? NO WAY!" He stood up. His long silver hair was pulled back into a low pony tail and his dog ears twitched.

"Haha mutt!" The other boy laughed.

"Kouga, you will play one of the owners of the opera." She pointed at the boy laughing.

"Fine. A wolf of my stature shall be the best." His tail swished back and forth.

"Ok now for the Phanto,. How about..." The doors opened. The principle walked in, his large white wings pulled back behind him.

"Excuse me Prof. Kaede. Students, here, meet your new classmate." In walked a tall demon. His long silver hair hung loose and his markings on his face outlined his features.

Kagome's mouth dropped. 'Gorgeous!' She thought. She smiled seeing his long fluffy tail twitch that hung over his shoulder. How cute! She stared at him. Suddenly he was staring at her.

'I would prefer you not make these comments human.' He narrowed his eyes at an angry Kagome.

'How dare you read my thoughts!' She crossed her arms. 'Jerk!'

"My name is Sesshomaru Taisho. I am Inuyasha's brother."

"Are you guys twins?" Yumi looked back and forth between them.

"No! I wouldn't want that face ever! I just skipped a grade!" Inuyasha looked pissed

Sesshomaru sat down in front of Kagome who was still pissed. He turned to her. "Calm down human. You look like your going to blow up." He turned away smirking at her.

She was about to make a come back but the teacher clapped her hands. "Sesshomaru, the class will be preforming Phantom of the Opera for the school and you will be playing the Phantom." She smiled when he smirked.

Kagome turned to Yumi and they spoke for a moment. She then stood up. " Prof. Kaede. I will play Christine and Yumi agreed to play her best friend."

The teacher nodded. "Ok then its all decided. The other parts will be assigned later. Ok for today's lecture.

Sesshomaru turned around and stared at Kagome. She smirked and both had an evil stare in their eyes. This would be interesting.
